Easy to use and works great
I had another 4 headphone amp which I didn't like. It worked fine, but I never liked having cables come out the front and the back - looks like a spider on your desk. Since I was replacing my mixer, I decided to get rid of that as well. This is easy to use, sounds great, and all the cables all go out the back!

Cause of hum I encountered was NOT the LZSIG amplifier or power adapter
The LZSIG amplifier is a good unit, with good construction. I had bad 60hz audio hum with this unit initially. I thought the unit was bad and ordered a replacement, but still bad 60hz audio hum. I tried another matching power adapter as another reviewer mentioned = no improvement. I finally found the source of the hum = my audio cables and/or the routing of my audio cables. The 60hz audio hum was coming from other cords (for example, power cords...) which were alongside my audio cables. I made sure my audio cables were all shielded, and I also routed all of the audio cables so that they were not running alongside or touching other cables, particularly power cables. HUM ALL GONE! BEAUTIFUL! GREAT UNIT, VERY RECOMMENDED! If you have audio hum, suspect and check/reroute your audio cables.

Recommend....
I had to order this last minute when my other headphone caddy went out. This one works great. Controls are good and sturdy. No static in any of the channels.

Great for the cost
Not grounded. I can hear when I move my fleece blanket or touch certain electronics as feedback temporarily, but other than that, it amplifies and splits my headphones and speakers perfectly. Makes me wonder if they had a power source with a ground if it wouldn't be the perfect product. So other than feedback from touching a fan for example, it works great.

Lots of gain. No hiss. Quiet. I like these.
Pros:has 3.5mm and 1/4" input jacks.tiny footprint. comes with an AC adapter.Has a lot of audio gain.No hiss or hum.Cons: None so far.I tested the "hiss" by inserting a headphone into one of the outputs without any audio signal, and turned the volume up all the way. Maxed-out. Barely detectable hiss. I mean, "nothing". Great little amps for the money. No regrets.

A great solution for bands and home studios
I picked this up for my home studio and it's great. Really small but it feels well built. It's great for situations where people are bringing their own headphones because every channel works with either a 1/4" or 1/8" output, so you don't need an adapter for every possible situation. The sound quality seems fine to me. I haven't done critical listening tests but songs that sound good through my audio interface also sound good through this. The price is right, and I think this will hold up to years of use as long as I don't beat it up. Recommended!

Sounds good, a compact stashable amp
The box is small enough to stash in the snake pit of wires behind the computer. All connectors are on the back panel, so the wires can be in a compact bundle (more compact than in-the-back out-the-front). This amp is so tiny, the weight and stiffness of 5 audio cables can drag it away. My intended usage is to get the cables and audio settings done and then just leave it behind the computer. The box needs to be anchored if I need convenient access to the knobs.I chose this amp for the claimed low noise, and for the input volume knob. I don't have lab gear to measure it, but the amp itself seems quiet. Of course, it can't do a miracle for bad audio cables. This amp makes a big improvement over the mess of Y-connectors I used to get computer audio to speaker amp, wired headphones, and bluetooth headphones. It would be nice to know the amplifier gain, but there's no published spec. I opened the amp to look inside. It seems well made, but it doesn't look like their pretty blue picture "5 PCS ROHM OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIER". It sure looks like 5 identical amplifiers with 5 identical knobs (amp circuit board photo). If amps are actually identical then I can get the amp gain from voltmeter measurements with the box closed. The gain for each of the 5 amps is +8dB, crudely measured. (Hey LZSIG, comment?)Measurement -- Computer runs Audacity to make 200Hz 0dB for amp input. Measure input Vrms. Adjust amp input and output knobs to get same Vrms at amp output, keeping knob rotations matched. This knob setting is 0dB gain (0dB knob setting photo). Next, set output knob to max and adjust Audacity to get back to same Vrms output: -8.2dB. Next, set input knob to max and adjust Audacity to get back to same Vrms output: -16.3dB.
