WARN 83664 Contactor with Electric Cables for M8000, XD9000, and 9.5XP-S Winches

If you have experienced the oil filled solenoid problem of locking out on WARN winches, you need this.The contactor control gets hot at the same rate as the motor and will only lock out when the motor is too hot to continue. The 1940's technology solenoid gets very hot, very fast and locks out rendering the winch useless until they cool down. Can take up to 15 minutes in my experience.Amazon was absolutely fantastic in shipping this item. Ordered it out of stock with a 2 month back order delay. Amazon located the box and shipped it far sooner! Simply outstanding customer service. Why buy anywhere else?If you have a WARN winch you need this improved control. And this is the place to buy it.

Loved this product. I needed it for an older M8 warn winch that had a rusted old control box. The fitment was perfect and it works great with the winch.

What's inside of Warn box ? There is a Albright DC88P solenoid. After checking specs in Albright UK Company, There is another massive solenoid DC182P weight 3,66Pounds , and the Warn ( Albright model DC88P) weight is 2,18 Pound. The difference in weight are , more internal stronger relay contactors, 50% more capacity than the Original model made for Warn. The Winch 9.5XPs was intended for Extra Performance (XP). I think Warn wanted to save money in this case. The 4 traditional relay came original are no more in production ? I think. I know the Albright company products are super reliable. Main reason why all the Winch companies choose Albright products from UK.
