I was stripping an old dick, I’m really struggling using a hammer and chisels I taken off for Planch‘s in three days as all the screws are rusted and all that be leave it up. However when I got this part finish it all up in an afternoon great but I could not find lots of uses.

When they arrive they have a dull edge on them and this needs sharpening properly otherwise they are no better than a stick.The wooden handle is ok but you need to wear a glove otherwise it would soon become painful on the hand. If you catch a large branch it might also be dislodged from the hand, so I’m thinking about adding a strap, a bit like a ski pole, to prevent it flying off across the garden. However, it will certainly do what it is supposed to and slash down nettles and talk weeds.

Firstly delivery was delayed by 3 days without any notice. The product is awful, the metal is floppy so just bends of hitting anything with any resistance, the end has been poorly sharpend and so anything you hit just bends of gets pulled rather than cut. The handle is incredibly poor with a giant gap in the middle making it extremely uncomfortable to use and catch on your skin, the rivets used are extremely large and so stick into your palms....this product fails on every level do not buy

Good sturdy product

OK for cutting nettles and grass, but anything with a bit of sturdiness like a brier of 1/4 inch 8mm it will struggle to cut as it is too lightweight and flexible on the shaft, it could do with a more sturdy shaft with a better grip and a bigger blade, it all depends what you want it for? good for light work only.

This is very lightweight and sharp area is fairly short but will chop standalone hogweed, fresh bramble, docks etc, not as good if cutting into grass or thick woody stuff, but does the job and is light to carry about
