I really wanted to like this board! I'm so heart broken that it's so garbage. Here is why;* The board does not roll out flat. It curves and waves. First of all, this alone made me want to return the board. Secondly, the software is really reliant on the pieces being positioned correctly. When they just fall out of place because of the hills and valleys on the board. Well..* A subscription service seemed to be a bit over-the top for me to be able to play more than 5 matches against an adaptive AI. IF the physical experience was flawless, I might not have reacted to it and just paid.* Very unhelpful customer service. Som person replied, saying that "I would like to bring to your attention that for the straight and curly board, it is recommended to roll it on the opposite side and to maintain the weight for a specified duration." - I have no idea what that means. Maintain the weight?

The pieces and the board itself provide comfortable playing experience as they are huge so that very instructive. This way, playing online games are fun.

It a very good board I did have some problems with the app a couple of days ago and there's was no online support. Concerning the Bluetooth connecting with lechess and chess.com, but now it seem they fixed it and it's working 👍 GREAT

The media could not be loaded. Great rollable board! I have the SquareOff Kingdom set and this is another great option. It's much more portable and easy to transport between locations (no locking the mechanism and packaging up the board, just roll up the board and go). The operation through the app is smooth and fast, I was impressed with how quickly the moves are transmitted to the board. This will allow for playing faster time controls vs opponents through the app. The pieces are big and feel nicely weighted. The annoying "press beeps" are a thing of the past, replaced with light-up LEDs on each square for piece movement. I like the low-profile on-off button and the USB-C charge port. Connecting to the SquareOff app and playing with the AI was a snap, the app immediately detected the board and I was playing in a few moments. Moving pieces is easy, when capturing a piece the order matters. You have to first move your piece that intends to capture the opponent piece, then remove the captured opponent piece, then place your piece on the now-vacated square of the captured piece. Once I got this worked out, the gameplay was smooth and easy. Unfortunately owning this board did not instantly make me a better chess player, but it's still great fun. Very happy with this board.
