Seems better than needle nose pliers for the fish when releasing
These seem like a good tool for hook removal but haven’t tried them yet.

Works Phenomenally
You'll neve save every fish that swallows a hook, period, hard stop, no question. BUT, these work so well for getting into the small mouths of panfish I can't sing their praises enough. Solidly works for a release of 75% of the ones I use it on. The other 25% get cut up for bait. Waste not want not and such. Buy these, throw them in your box, you won't regret it. I'd give them 10 stars if I could.

Not so easy as expected
I tried to use on getting the hook out of trouts mouth, but I ended up falling back to the old needle nose pliers.

These dehookers are small but seem to work. The slot is hard to see.

Didn't work for me.
Very hard to get the hooks out from my catch.

Maybe work for mosquito hooks
The hole is so small every hook I have the eye of it won’t fit into the hole of the hook remover. Maybe a mosquito hook or sabiki rig would work for it but besides that it’s useless. Save your time and money
