Absolutely love it with one minor issue
Its beautiful, solid, got a great weight to it, blade is sharp, feels fantastic to hold and use.Its only downside if one can call that is breaking it in. Took awhile to get use to the action and to smooth it up for opening. I love that its so firm but I wish the action was a bit smoother and didn't stick so much when going to open it up. Makes is worlds safer from an accidental opening and once you break it in and get used too it its fine. But that really is the only 'critique' I can give of it. Beautiful knife.

Takes Some Adjusting but Very Reliable
When you live out in the country like we do, you end up collecting and carrying pocket knives with you, everywhere you go. I have a variety of dependable pocket knives that I use often on our land. This one is very different, but so far I'm a fan. It took a bit of getting used to, as far as the opening and closing. There are certainly lightweight knives that have an easier/smoother open and shut. But what this one requires in a bit of extra effort, it makes up for in terms of durability. It can noticeably take a bit more abuse, and I can get more use out of than many common pocket knives. It arrived sharp, but just the same, I made sure to get the edge sharper using a whetstone (never use a manual drag-through countertop sharpener with a blade like this). As with all pocket knives I've gotten from Amazon over the years, the real test will be seeing how it stands up to frequent use after months or a year or two. I've had some knives that I liked when I first received them, and then half a year later they break. I have a bit more faith in this one than those, but I'll update my review in the future to keep potential buyers posted.

Super cool for a knife collecting newbie
I gifted this knife to myself because it looked cool. I only have a few knives so far (they are all approximately the same size and price range as this one), so I can't comment about the blade quality or any of the technical details unfortunately. First of all, this knife comes in a dive box, which is a very cool way to store it. It has a carbon fiber detail on the handle which I assume is for decoration only because the knife is really heavy overall compared to others of similar size. The blade arrived super sharp. It's fairly easy to open with one hand, even for me (a woman with small hands). The only thing that threw me off was it took me a long time to figure out how to close it. Probably my newbie ignorance, but my other knives, and others I have used, have an obvious notch or indent so you know where to put a little pressure to release the blade so you can close it. On this one, there's a notched out area on both sides (the dark gray and the black side) that just looks like decoration (to me, again, inexperienced knife owner) and it took a few minutes for me to discover that pressing on the dark gray side would release the blade so I could close the knife. Right about now, if you're an experienced collector you've definitely rolled your eye at least once during this review haha. Anyway, I'll wrap up by reiterating that I really love this knife, I'm glad I added it to my small but growing collection. As I learn more, I may not be as impressed, but as a new collector it is a nice addition for me.

I got an used knife
It was disappointing, for a Japanese product and 100 dollar knife, I was expecting better quality. The product dont looks new, had dust and used marks. (Pictures) Delivery package need additional bubble protection.
