I'll start with the first hurdle: assembly. Absolutely simple but watch out for the bolt that holds the handle in place. You will have to remove it from the handle before slotting it into place and then place and tighten the bolt, easy once you see it. This vacuum works well but I would not recommend for a larger property as you will need to keep emptying it and (if you have pets) cleaning the rotor bar. Otherwise cleaning dust, fluff, and particulate matter (that is cat litter) from carpets 10/10. It works as well or better than any other vacuum I've encountered. From hard floors not quite so good. It will do it eventually but you'll spend time moving stuff about and be tempted to use the turbo setting but this will affect the operational time of your battery charge. However, it recharges fast and all the tools are readily to hand if you need them. It is light and can readily reach into small spaces. My only reservation is how robust it is and only time will tell.

Bought for my elderly Mom to replace her previous cordless Bosch. Unfortunately, it has a more powerful motor and is therefore slightly heavier. Mom cant use it comfortably and lucky for me its now mine. Really good run time and copes well with dog hairs.

Very pleased with the sweeper. Easy to put together, even for a 70 year old.Not quite sure why three separate boxes were necessary to pack it in though.Suction good, while capacity for dust is quite small.

An effective lightweight vacuum cleaner that is easy to use and works well. So far battery life seems good. Three annoying design faults:1. The supposed lock between the floor unit and the upright is a weak design and comes undone too easily. With more everyday use it will get looser.2. The pipe extension piece stored in the upright swings out of place in normal use, very annoying. Again a poorly designed weak lock is the problem.3. The cover holding the spare brush housed in the upper part of the handle does not close properly. Again a weak closure, Inspection showsthat one tiny little tab has already broken off.Aspects of design and manufacture leave much to be desired. Time will tell regarding the rest of the machine.

I cannot believe how awful this hoover is, I bought this around September and have just about given up with it, it has zero suction, even picking dust, forget crumbs, the helpful light at the front just hilights this. Definitely not for purchase as a main hoover, that's for sure, really regret wasting my money. Another bug bear, it constantly falls over, it is not sturdy and incredibly hard to keep upright, also not very attractive in reality, looks cheap****Despite the fact it is rubbish, I thought perhaps just using it as a handheld vacuum would be better, went to charge it for this purpose and it is no longer charging**** Total waste of money

***UPDATE*** After using it for several months I reckon I would be better off sucking up dust and fluff through a straw- this is nigh on useless! What a waste of money...After 6 years of faithful service my Bosch Athlet decided that its battery had reached the end. It can only hold a charge for about 5 mins so have relegated it to do a quick whizz round upstairs where it now lives like a faithful retainer.I debated with myself buying another one but I was swayed by the detachable part on this- handy for nooks and crannies where an Athlet won't fit.This one looks ok but the suction isn't anywhere near as good and the dust canister a lot smaller. Internal filters no where near as well made and because the canister is a lot smaller, you are constantly opening up to empty it. I can imagine the fittings will soon become victims of 'wear and tear' due to this. I shall give it the benefit of the doubt for a few more days but not particularly impressed so far!n.b Light went off after five minutes of use which doesn't bode well!

All I can say is WOW WOW! It’s very light and easy to use. I whip it round the kitchen, hallway, conservatory and bathroom morning & night! Picks up all the bits left from a puppy & 4 grandchildren on tiled floors. Tumbleweed of fur gone! It will pick up bits off the carpets, which I do use at times, but still use my proper hoover on the lounge carpet for a deeper clean. On tiled floors, this is ace! Total game changer.
