can i recover R134a system

this pump is not designed to "recover" anything. (there isn't any way to collect the exhaust.) It just pulls a vacuum on an "empty" system. You still need gauges and hoses to do even that.

Can this be used to suck all the air out of a closed pvc pipe?

I you can come up with the correct fittings to hook it up air tight, it will vacuum out anything.

I'm not sure I understand the question. CNC router, cutter and this ? This vacuum is exclusively for vacuuming moisture from an AC system. That is what I use it for
