I did not use this to mount a bipod. I used it to attach a night vision monocular to a rail
I used this to attach a night vision monocular ASIN B07TMLQGDJ to a picatinny rail. I disassembled this QD mount and removed the sling lug. I replaced it with a 1/4" - 20 x 1/2" button head socket cap screw and screwed this QD mount into the bottom of the monocular. 1/4"-20 is standard camera tripod thread size and many of these monoculars have a threaded hole so that they can be mounted on a camera tripod. For the price, this QD works great for what I am using it for.

Inexpensive and useful
I've purchased two of these now. Pretty good for the money. Have it 4 stars since the swivel stud attachment was to long when attaching a Harris bipod. Had to add a washer under the side to shorten it to be able to snug the bipod down.The second one purchased, I got rid of the swivel stud and bolted directly to a manfrotto quick adapter plate to attach my gun to a tripod. Worked out surprisingly well.

Perfect for BiPods
Takes up 5 slots on a picatinny rail and is secure. Easily removed for the handguard with the flip on the lever when not in use. Clips right on with little to no effort. Rotates 360° freely no binding like some others.No cons...

Russian roulette on the quality. Caveat Emptor.
So I have 2 Harris type bipods.4 rifles and I was hoping to Have these qd adapter to attach to each bipod and then to the picatinny rails under the muzzles - that I put on each rifle. The first adapter went on without a hitch and works great (5 stars for that one). The 2nd one is crap. The Harris stud is too long so the threaded tightening screw can't tighten down enough to take up the slack. And then the 2 little mounting studs don't fit into the provided Harris stud holes because the holes are too small. It's a Caldwell bipod so that should not have been an issue. I finally quit in frustration. The Chinese seem to be short on quality assurance. Sending it back to Amazon for a refund.
