Q: Are the 24mo and the 2T the same size and features?

They look the same. In other clothing brands- Normally 24 month vs 2T the 24month is a little looser for diaper wearing kids and slightly shorter. That has been my experience. All manufacturers are different, check with them.

Q: If i need 6-9 mth size, is that a 6mth or 9mth on the ordering?

I would get the 9 month you can roll up the pant legs if a little long but they don't let out much if to short

Q: Is it thorn resistant?

It is made with thick material, but I can not say with a 100% certainty.

Q: Are these supposed to be worn over clothes or like any other overall?

That's how we do it! Then baby can get super dirty and we just peel them off and she has mostly clean clothes underneath!
