5 rating - BUT
this is a 5 rating but there is a HUGE "BUTT" with this rating ... the product worked great and I just REPLACED it ... why ?I filled the base with WATER and it got to 1 degree here during the Winter and ALL FOUR of the pieces broke and leaked ... not necessarily the products fault, but I would NOT recommend filling with water if you live in an area that is going to freeze during the Winter months ... chalked it up as "my bad" ....

Perfect!
At the beginning of the summer I got a great deal on a 12’ umbrella, only one catch, it didn’t come with a base, so started my search. I couldn’t find a reasonably priced one locally anywhere, so I turned to the obvious…Amazon. I considered several but this one answered the assignment. I comes in 4-parts making it easy to fill and easy to move. Because it’s easy to move, I can move my umbrella with ease. It’s been on my deck all summer through the beaming sun and hurricane like rains and the plastic hasn’t faded at all. Great product!

Nice textured base
Easy to assemble. Has held down our large cantaveler umbrella with no tipping yet. I wish there was something to place around the pole center in order to cover that last bit up. It does seem artificial. I would describe it as casual but not tacky artificial.

Definitely need to put sand in the stand!
This is a good, sturdy umbrella base. We didn't have a chance to put sand in it, though, before we had a thunderstorm with high winds. The umbrella base couldn't hold the umbrella in place, but we believe if we had put sand in it, the umbrella would have remained in place. The way it comes apart makes it a little clumsy to handle, but overall we're happy with this base.

Small and attractive
A windstorm blew our umbrella in half, but these FRUITEAM weights kept the base on the ground. I filled each piece with sand, no water. Despite being individually light weight, using all 4 are plenty heavy enough to keep the umbrella base in place. The pieces are nice looking, easy to carry and stand up when storing. Now I just need a new umbrella.

Great product and works great for my patio umbrella
You can fill it with water or sand, I would highly recommend taking the time to fill it with sand. The water is not as heavy and will freeze over the winter and likely expand and could possibly damage the stand if you don’t empty them. Okay the sand was way heavier so I’m happy I did use the sand. Highly recommend this product!

Very Nice Umbrella!
The umbrella is very nice, but is completely unstable on its own. Purchasing an additional weighted base solves the stability issue. The umbrella can be moved, but it is very awkward. At a single location, the umbrella is adjustable and serves as a great sun shade. Overall, it is a good product, but be aware that it has some limitations.

Does what it should
I like that it covers the cross bar of the umbrella most that I looked at went in-between them and had a bar loop over to hold the umbrella up and it seemed most of them failed with a slight wind I have had this base for about 2 months at works great. I filled with water and haven't noticed any leaking
