Very strong
These are super strong and amazing for many uses. I'm a van camper, so I use them for all kinds of things around the interior and exterior of my van. Unlike typical magnets in a superstore, etc., these hold some serious weight. For example, one use I have for them is gluing them with E6000 into shower curtains to make multi-use covers for things while camping. Because of these magnets, I can lean things like my scooter and lawn chairs against my van and protect them from weather in a tarp-like fashion. I can place them over my open rear "barn doors" for cover or vertically against those same barn doors for privacy; a small outside room for changing or portapot. These are the magnets you need for heacv duty hold. They're so strong that they're hard to simply pull off using fingers. You have to slide them off surfaces - if that makes sense. Great product.

Workaround for AC/Heating filter door broken latches
I found that one of my latches had failed, causing the 20"/30" ceiling mount filter door to sag, and noticed another worn down considerably. I found a YouTube video describing how one man repaired his broken door latches using Neodymium magnets.I bought these type of magnets in a round configuration, with a countersunk hole in the center. Using a 1" screw, a 3/8" rubber spacer, two washers, and a white porcelain knob handle (from HD), I was able to create two magnetic attachment points, one in each non-hinge side corner. This configuration creates a door attachment system that doesn't put too much magnetic pull (where you can't open the door), and the knobs ensure I can change filters easily and safely without pulling on the vents. I would recommend getting a white-colored plastic knob if you can find them, because the ones I got from HD are heavier than I wanted (it surprised me this was so hard to find).I also used some Neodymium Bar Magnets with Double-Sided Adhesive (Rare-Earth Metal Neodymium Magnet - 60 x 10 x 3 mm, Pack of 6) I tried these magnets out first, but could not get the two surfaces to close completely. I re-watched the video and found the video creator used 5 mm thick magnets, while these are 3 mm thick. My workaround was to double them up (one on top of another), giving me probably 7 mm thickness between the door and the top of the magnets. I used this double configuration on the short edge (where the breakage occurred), and two more on the non-hinge long edge, spaced in thirds (one at the 1/3 area, the other at the 2/3 area).Between these two types of magnets I was able to get the door to close together and hold without the latches being engaged. For safety I went ahead and latched them when I was satisfied with the repair. The pull force to open the door is neither too heavy (easily pulled down with minimal pull force) nor too light (I didn't feel like the unlatched door would just swing down unexpectedly either), and also fixed the saggy area by pulling it up flush with the frame again. Finally, these are powerful magnets that are also fragile (although I didn't break mine), even though they have a metal housing that helps protect them. To separate them without damaging, follow the instructions. I will update this review if anything changes, but for now I am happy to not have to replace the whole door for lack of a couple of 5 five cent latches.

Great little magnet
Small magnets but quite powerful

Very strong magnets.
Exactly what I needed to hang tin signs on metal cabinets. Eventually I swapped them out for thick magnetic tape as that provided a cleaner look for my scenario.

Super strong
These magnets are super strong and hard to even get apart. Be careful that you don't get fingers pinched

None of these magnets have the holding power listed in the description
I was trying to find a cheaper alternative to the spec'd N42 rare earth magnets with 40lb holding power. I bought another 40lb rare earth magnet similar in style to these on Amazon and purchased them. They held a fraction of the rated 40lbs. I returned them in favor of 80lb magnets which will still too weak. I finally arrived on these 150lb magnets. And while very strong they simple did not have the strength I needed.Summary - I do not know how this type of magnet on Amazon is tested and rated, but none of them appear to have the holding power listed in their descriptions. And while these are strong magnets they would not do the job for me.
