Beats Mono line
I've switched over to this stuff, from using standard monofilament line. All my freshwater spinning tackle is set up with Fluorokote. It took me exactly one fishing season to test it and figure out that it outperforms most mono lines. It casts better, it's smoother, it's just as strong and it gets tangled much less than your typical trilene or stren. I've also caught considerable MORE fish while I was testing it out. I believe it lives up to its claim that it's not as visible to fish, and therefore lessens the chance of spooking them. Last summer, I caught tons of different species using it. I tried another rod with mono line right alongside the Flurokote rig, and it didn't get as many bites. The line is not totally perfect though...it has gotten tangled, but I've always been able to troubleshoot it quickly. Way less than standard mono. This goes great with the KastKing reels, too. I'm convert to KastKing products overall, as are members of my family. They make great affordable, and effective(!) products.

Seems to be good quality line
had to replace both my spools with this line. the other line I had bought from another company was a disaster. Feels supple and doesnt hold memory of the spool

As described
Good price for what it is, copolymer, mono coated with fluorocarbon NOT100% Florocarbon, however copolymers do serve a purpose, such as better knot strength than straight mono and some abrasive resistance, much less expensive than 100% fluorocarbon but just the in between the mono and floro

Perfect fishing lines!!
As an avid fisherman, I am always looking for the best line and KastKing has stepped up. I use all three of their lines; the monofilament line, the flurocarbon coated and the super power braid. Each serves me well for its intended purpose, and each holds up well to both salt water and fresh water fishing. The Monofilament line has:* High Tensile strength* Superior castability* Low Stretch* High abrasion ResistanceThe Flurocarbon is coated with 100% pure flurocarbon with a ghigh tech polymer blend formula core. This provides superior castability with a faster sink rate which is virtually invisible in water and extremely abrasion resistant. This is the Icast 2015 award winning brand. For the price I dare say this may be the perfect line! The third line I use is the superpower braidline series. This is probably my favorite line just for pure strength. I love the narrow diameter you get with the braided lines for the strength. This line provides superior strength with virtually no stretch. This makes it ultra sensitive and allows you to feel any bump that your lure takes. It also has no spool memory, which is great for bait casters to help prevent bird nests when you haven't set the brakes or clutches right. The molecular formula protects from water absorption and UV damage.I used to only purchase spiderwire, it was my previous go to before I discovered KastKing. Now all of my fishing poles are spooled with KastKing. I highly recommend it for all fishermen and fisher women from beginners to seasoned pros!

Great line - get this instead of the KastKing Tripolymer
I bought this to replace the KastKing Tripolymer line - I was having issues with break-offs. It's night and day difference to the Tripolymer. The Fluorokote is strong, even with minor abrasions from rocks or bass/catfish "teeth" (the rough patches on their lips). You should still stay on top of re-tying to avoid break-offs, but it is much more forgiving. Highly recommend.

Too much memory
I used the 6 lb version of this on a 2500 sized reel and I am not loving it. Line strength and knot strength are good, but this has way too much memory. You have to be careful with wind knots and I have typically not experienced that with Berkeley Big Game at 8 lb or even 12 lb. It might be a good leader, but seems too stiff to be a main line on a small spinning reel.I thought copolymer was supposed to be more supple than mono, but maybe I am mistaken in some way.

It's so clear
Fluorocarbon has the same refraction index as water, so this stuff is even more invisible than monofilament line. And, this stuff won't stretch.

Resistente
