Great value for the price
The media could not be loaded. Unlike other longboards in this price range, this one is pretty stable under foot, especially at higher speeds. It's torsional flex makes it very responsive for turn initiation. The deck is stiff which can make rebound at the apex of the turns a little too much at times. This also leads to excessive vibration when the pavement is not smooth.Overall, though, I have been very impressed with this longboard. It makes skateboarding very fun. I highly recommend it.

Outstanding Board for the price!
Just received this Volador long board today and am very impressed by it. I've a collection of Sector 9s which are great boards but about four times the price of this Volador; I'll be putting those up for sale now... At 46" in length, it is a bona fide 'long board'. Rode it at dusk in a freshly-minted parking lot and had a blast. Smooth, fast, and lots of fun. The flex profile of a board is of most importance to me in a long board; it's crucial to have flex for a smooth, responsive ride. I weigh in at approximately 174 lbs. and this deck has the perfect amount of flex. The trucks look decent and the reverse king-pin is a nice feature. Very much like the wheels which feel medium-soft in terms of hardness, contributing to a smooth ride. At sixty clams with free shipping for Prime members, it's a steal. [I live in Hawai'i and it would cost at least sixty bucks to ship this thing via UPS or Priority Mail]. I recommend this board for anyone under 200 lbs. looking for a quality long board at a great value. ~ Mahalo nui loa.Post-script [12/24]:So I just ordered another one of these. Same great board but they seem to have over-looked that a quarter-inch riser serves an important purpose in vibration dampening. Without a thin layer of rubber or plastic, all the road grind is being transferred up to the rider and rattling nuts loose.I'll install them on my board but will need to buy longer hardware as the bolts are short on this set-up.For future consideration, 85mm or 90mm wheels would be fantastic on these 46" decks.Narrower profile and a taller wheel provides better roll and endless glide for those of us who can gyrate a longboard for miles.

As a beginner I can call this an excellent beginner investment.
I went back and forth on picking this board out because I read reviews saying to go the extra money and get a better board, but as a beginner I decided I could start here and if I don't end up being any good at using the thing I'm not out too much money. I can echo what a lot of other people are saying about this board in that bearings can stand to be upgraded. I currently get around pretty decent on it, but I'm gonna throw some Yellow Jackets on it. I also found that it helps to loosen all of the hardware up and tighten back to your liking as some stuff is too tight and some too loose out of the box. Another big problem for me has been wheelbite. This board has some wheel wells molded in but I can see from where my wheels are rubbing that they aren't even making it into that area. I have some risers on the way to help deal with that too. I'm a heavier guy (over 200lb), but the board feels sturdy and strong under me. I've managed to pick up a couple tricks on the board and its fun to ride around the neighborhood. The designs are awesome and the board looks really good. As a beginner I feel pretty good about using this board to learn on and even feel good letting my sons learn on it too.TL:DR VersionNice out of box (requires minor adjustments), but upgrade bearings for a nicer ride. (Cheap fix)Wheelbite a problem but should be fixed with some risers. (Cheap fix)Sturdy, looks great, fun to ride. Great for beginners.

This board is well made.
The shape was really ugly to me at first. It was the awesome design obviously that drew me in and then it being 46”. That meant steady acceleration with much less speed wobble, and that’s exactly what happened when I road it. I was a bit ,”uhmmmm” about the length at first just because I like to have max maneuverability in case if I need it, and I always do! But I took it down a little slice of heaven of a hill around my home, I’d say a short short black diamond with a bit of blue. The run has a near 90 degree left turn at the middle of it, then straight to a fast drop right afterwards, WITH a sewer crossing right before you hit your peak speed of the run. The board did really well on the turn surprisingly, despite its length, and its a pretty short turn. I’m surprised actually at what this board can provide. You never know sometimes with these things, it’s like the ugly duckling!! Lolalmao2

Perfect setup for someone looking to start longboarding
Absolutely perfect for a person looking to get into longboarding without breaking the bank. I was able to ride it right out of the box without any adjustments. I took it to me local skate shop and the owner was surprised how well built the board was.I’ve never ridden a board before so I am an absolute beginner. I was expecting to crash a lot during the opening hours of getting my feet wet but so far no falls and the pushing and carving feels so easy. Very smooth ride and perfect level of flex in the board (I’m 5’11” 150 lbs as a reference). The length is great too. I wasn’t sure how such a long board would feel but I would not get anything shorter now. It feels luxurious riding something this long, plus the level of control you have on something this big is top notch.Perhaps in the future once I get more proficient I will get a higher-end longboard but that won’t be for a very long time as this is a wonderful setup. If you are considering getting into longboarding at all, look no further. Overall it is quite an impressive setup and at $59 it’s a no-brainer.
