Works GREAT!
Does EXACTLY as I expected. Worth every penny.Coworkers amazed at how well it works and at the low price. Very easy to install. Makes it a bit darker when viewed straight on, but that is the price you pay for the narrow viewing angle and the attenuation outside of the viewable angle. Looks like a black screen outside that area! I don't find the slight dimming difficult to deal with at all. A great product!!

Privacy feature works great
I was not looking for a privacy feature. I wanted antiglare for a 24" monitor, but couldn't find one. My wife has vision problems and can't deal with the glare. The mounting tabs didn't work, so I used scotch tape. The screen was installed matte out. I am use to sitting next to my wife when she uses the computer. Now I have to sit directly behind her to see the screen. The antiglare works fine for her.

These were a smidgen to big, so I took a metal ruler and trimmed about 1/8'' or less off 2 sides and now they fit perfectly. They provide perfect security, 5 steps away from my monitor you can't see a thing, and unless you are directly in front of it you can not see if you are standing at an angle.

This is the one you want!
Works great. Much better than my last one that clipped onto the outside bezel. This one uses double sided tape to attach directly to the glass, and was very easy to apply. I did have to trim the filter to make it fit my SAMSUNG monitor, but it was easily done with standard scissors. The view is blocked at a much smaller angle also, so nosey people would have to be standing almost directly behind me to see clearly.

Not Quite What I Expected
I gave this item 1 star because it almost did what it's supposed to do. If you are at a 45º angle, the screen can still be seen. You have to be at a 90º angle in order for the screen to black out. There are also many other things they don't tell you, such as:1. If you have a wide-screen monitor, the right and left sides of the screen will be much darker than the middle.2. You will not be able to view the screen clearly. The filter makes the lettering on the screen a little fuzzy. It also darkens the entire display so white will look grey, no matter if you are sitting right in front of it or not.3. It changes the colors displayed. If you need to see the true colors, you need to remove the screen.4. Gravity is no friend to this filter. No matter how many tabs you use, the filter will slide down and bow out at the edges until it slips out from the tabs. It constantly needs to be adjusted and then cleaned of your fingerprints.5. Each time you adjust the filter and clean it, it leaves scratches which can't be removed.6. If you use it with the shiny side out, you will get a great amount of glare.I feel this product was not worth the large amount of money I paid for it. I think I'd rather make a cardboard box to place around the monitor and not have to deal with the drawbacks of this product.

Does an excellent job of cutting down the glare and protecting the eyes. I have an LED screen which is very, very bright and I am relieved by having this screen. I have had a problem with the little stickers that hold it on the monitor's edges, and I did have to trim the screen to fit my 24" monitor. Didn't care for that.

Too expensive and cost $$$ to return
The screens are actually pretty good but they did not work for my purpose. Why I am upset is I tried to return them because they were really expensive at $100 a screen. It just didn't fit the price. BUT I was charged nearly $40 to return them! They have a ridiculous restocking fee. Be sure you really want these and at this price as the return policy is NOT friendly unlike the normal returns on Amazon which have been easy for me. My mistake!
