This is the one you want!
Works great. Much better than my last one that clipped onto the outside bezel. This one uses double sided tape to attach directly to the glass, and was very easy to apply. I did have to trim the filter to make it fit my SAMSUNG monitor, but it was easily done with standard scissors. The view is blocked at a much smaller angle also, so nosey people would have to be standing almost directly behind me to see clearly.

Fasteners needed
The screen definitely does it's job well. As advertised, you can see contents on screen only from a direct angle. All other vantage points become unclear. The only problem would be that as much as it stays on the screen without much movement, the clips attached are not worth placing in the package. It does not work at all and gives the sleek screen a very "cheap" look.Other than that - definitely a good buy!

Just what I needed
This works great. I bought it to get some privacy, but do note that like with many of these products, lowering the brightness of your device will give you better results. I measured my screen before buying this. If you don’t measure your screen beforehand, you may need to cut something or buy another one.

Not Quite What I Expected
I gave this item 1 star because it almost did what it's supposed to do. If you are at a 45º angle, the screen can still be seen. You have to be at a 90º angle in order for the screen to black out. There are also many other things they don't tell you, such as:1. If you have a wide-screen monitor, the right and left sides of the screen will be much darker than the middle.2. You will not be able to view the screen clearly. The filter makes the lettering on the screen a little fuzzy. It also darkens the entire display so white will look grey, no matter if you are sitting right in front of it or not.3. It changes the colors displayed. If you need to see the true colors, you need to remove the screen.4. Gravity is no friend to this filter. No matter how many tabs you use, the filter will slide down and bow out at the edges until it slips out from the tabs. It constantly needs to be adjusted and then cleaned of your fingerprints.5. Each time you adjust the filter and clean it, it leaves scratches which can't be removed.6. If you use it with the shiny side out, you will get a great amount of glare.I feel this product was not worth the large amount of money I paid for it. I think I'd rather make a cardboard box to place around the monitor and not have to deal with the drawbacks of this product.

They provide perfect security, 5 steps away from my monitor you ...
These were a smidgen to big, so I took a metal ruler and trimmed about 1/8'' or less off 2 sides and now they fit perfectly. They provide perfect security, 5 steps away from my monitor you can't see a thing, and unless you are directly in front of it you can not see if you are standing at an angle.

I hope they are under product redesign for the fastening system
This screen works well. It is completely black from most angles. I have a large monitor so even if I'm off center a bit, part of the screen will black out on me...which I think is good. What is not good is that you attach this $80+ screen to your monitor with little plastic tabs that look and feel like the plastic labels on file folders and notebook dividers. They look really tacky, although they do the job. I just don't understand why the screen isn't made to slip in between the frame of the monitor and the monitor screen itself. Problem solved. No cheap-o, plastic, adhesive holders needed.Update 06/10/13As stated in my org. review the plastic tabs are cheap and tacky looking and now they are failing. Several times a day I am reaffixing the plastic tabs to my monitor to hold the screen in place. My IT guy would kill me if I stuck anything else to my monitor so I don't know what I'm going to do about the failing tabs. I am very frustrated with this product. I've downgraded my rating to just "OK".

Works GREAT!
Does EXACTLY as I expected. Worth every penny.Coworkers amazed at how well it works and at the low price. Very easy to install. Makes it a bit darker when viewed straight on, but that is the price you pay for the narrow viewing angle and the attenuation outside of the viewable angle. Looks like a black screen outside that area! I don't find the slight dimming difficult to deal with at all. A great product!!
