Q: How much flexibility? I want to wrap it around a flag pole and secure a wire going to the top.

It could be wrapped around a pole. It will require some manhandling, but it comes coiled, so you can take advantage of the tendency to coil back. I had to fight to straighten it. The wire will also increase the stiffness and so increase the challenge of coiling.

Q: Can this be used for Hot tub ?

Yes, if it is a gas fired heater with 3/4" inlet pipe.
