My son being a young starter on the instrument was my concern where he would not be able to put the pieces together. Having this case lets him start in his practice the moment he takes the clarinet out. The cut out for the keys fit perfectly and the case is slim, no bulkiness, and is well balanced

I primarily bought this because I own a metal clarinet which cannot fit in a regular case (one-piece body), but have also used it for going to rehearsals where I only need my Bb. It's convenient to assemble the instrument at home (or just place it in the case where you've already been practicing).Note: do not leave a wooden instrument in this case (or in/on any other case or stand) without drying your bore and the tenons! You'll be sorry if you do! This didn't happen to me; just passing that observation along because this case would leave you open to that temptation.

I got this portable case primarily because I want to limit the disassembly and reassembly of the clarinet to a minimum. The fit was perfect and the instrument lays snug and happy in the case. It also helps that there is more than enough padding and protection that should help extend its life. The case is light and the right size for portability. It could use a larger side pocket should it be redesigned but ergonomically and aesthetically, the case is just beautiful and should bring years of service. I might get another one for another member of the family.

I wanted a case that would let me carry my clarinet to my music lessons that was completely assembled and ready to go upon arrival.

This is great, especially for a younger person trying to assemble/disassemble a new instrument. You can keep the instrument together and store/transport in this case.

What I like about this case is that you don't have to completely take apart your clarinet in order to put it in the case. You just put the complete clarinet in the sturdy case and zip it up.

For transporting my clarinet to and from playing events, it is okay. It is a little tight, but I have not experienced bent keys or any other damage. I have another one (by Glory, which is no longer offered on Amazon) that I much prefer as it seems to fit my clarinet better. This one is for my back up clarinet, and I don't think I would trust my LeBlanc Concerto II in this one due to the tight fit.
