Outstanding Quality and Value - A Game-Changer for My Gardening Needs

The LECA beads performed exactly as described, proving to be an invaluable addition to my gardening arsenal. The shipment arrived in impeccable condition, with the packaging ensuring that the beads were secure and undamaged. From the get-go, it was clear that this product was of superior quality. Each bead was consistent in size and shape, showcasing the high standards of production and care taken in their selection. In terms of performance, the LECA exceeded my expectations. It provided excellent drainage and aeration for my plants, facilitating root growth and overall health in a way that soil alone could not achieve. The ease of use and the efficiency it brings to my gardening routine have made me a convert; I see myself using LECA for a wide range of applications moving forward.Price-wise, this purchase has offered great value, especially when compared to similar options available in my area. The cost-effectiveness of this product, coupled with its exceptional performance, makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enhance their gardening practices with LECA.In summary, I couldn't be happier with my purchase. The quality, performance, and value of the LECA beads have not only met but exceeded my expectations. Lightweight and Sturdy
I recently switched from my usual Hydroton clay pebbles to try out these new ones in my hydroponic system for growing peppers and tomatoes. These new clay pebbles are lighter and slightly larger than Hydroton, which I found to be a positive change. There was minimal dust in the bag, suggesting good quality and potential longevity. Out of the 18 lb box I ordered, only about 10 pebbles were cracked, indicating they are quite sturdy. While I can't speak to their long-term durability just yet, their initial performance has been promising.

Pretty Good stuff
I like it best of the 3 brands I have tried, as far as wicking moisture. The only strike I have against it, is that It is dustier than the other brands I have tried, so takes more rinsing. But a great value for the price! I just received my second order of it.

Perfect
The media could not be loaded. As described it's hydroton but it's actually a good price for the amount and they are perfect for my hydroponic tent with drip rdwc setup. Can't complain.

Mostly As Advertised (Updated)
This review only addresses some of the criticisms I read in other low-star reviews. I cannot review the potential good that my plants may experience because I just received my box.1) Did not weigh 18 pounds. My box of ceramic drainage marbles actually weighed 18.2 pounds. As Advertised.(+) The box measured 17 x 13 x 7 inches = 1,547 cubic inches = 26.8 quarts. Given that volume measurements are always more valuable in gardening, I felt this was helpful to know.2) The ceramic drainage marbles were mostly damaged. While I did find some damaged marbles, they were few and fairly consistent with the product photos. See my attached pictures. Again, As Advertised.3) The product arrived in a unmarked trash bag. This is true. If the product was something where I needed to know the ingredients or other info, I might be troubled by the lack of a manufacturers package. But I buy bulk items at my local garden center, making this no different.(+) However, while writing this, I did just wonder if there is a way to test the clay for heavy metals.UPDATE: I purchased the "Lead Paint Test Kit with 60 pcs Test Swabs" from Amazon and went around testing my cast iron, ceramics, etc. Testing included these hydroponic clay pebbles. I am happy to report that the test swabs did NOT turn color (lead test negative) for both the outer surface and the centers of a few broken clay pebbles.
