Dell - 3TB 7.2K RPM 6Gb/s 3.5" SAS HD -Mfg # 91K8T (Comes with drives & tray)

Received drives that were very old, but still in original packing exactly as described. Drives installed perfectly in Dell R710 and all showed up and are working fine with no issues. Shipping was fast and box arrived in good condition.

Drives work fine, but once I checked the power on hours.....each of the two I ordered had 2700+ days clocked. Which is over 7 years of use. Lifetime writes, one was 10TB, the other 13TB. So these things have taken a beating. I had my suspicions, and one of the cages had permanent marker on the label. I'm not using them for anything mission critical, just a home server with stuff I backup regardless....but keep in mind, this is what you get when you order drives from 2012 / 2013.

These drives work great. I've got them in an R420. Great value for money.

I felt like it was a really good value for the money paid. However out of the six drives I ordered, two were dead and I had to send back for a refund. Overall though, I was pleased and the working drives have been working fine. I know for old stock these things sometimes happen and I am not mad about the two dead drives. Money was refunded for those two. I would have been happy to have them replaced, but Amazon didn't give me that option when I reported the problem.

This was a drop in replacement for a failed drive in our Dell T320 server. It worked perfectly. It's too soon to say anything about durability, but we're planning to retire that server soon, so we'll probably never know.

Just plugged them into the server, formatted and setup a RAID system in a few minutes. Popped right into my 440 server, no problems.

All though the hard drives are new shelf life is super old like sitting on the shelf sense 2013 but hey there working and for the price you can't b*t*h.
