Underrated essence-toner
I've been looking for an essence to replace my Dr. Ceuracle kombucha essence (my winter holy grail, but a tad bit too thick for the warmer seasons.) I was going to get the Beauty of Joseon ginseng essence, but when I saw this matcha essence-toner I thought "what the heck" and decided to try this out instead, despite the lack of reviews and rating.I'm so far surprised that this toner is not getting the love it deserves. I find that since using it nightly, the redness in my cheeks has lessened significantly. Not only that, but I often struggle with comedonal acne in the same area, but the first few nights after using this it was as if they never existed in the first place. My skin for the past several days since incorporating this product into my nighttime routine has been smooth, glowing, and featuring very little comedonal acne. This was rather shocking to me, since I lowkey gave up trying to find a solution to this problem and this one toner kind of solved it overnight. Not to mention the blackheads on my nose don't appear to be as prominent (though that's probably because I recently added a clay face mask to my routine which targets those types of issues.)Since I have combo/dry skin, I tend to apply this toner twice, then follow up with another toner (the klairs moisturizing toner) as sort of an emulsion step/extra moisture. My skin so far has been loving this combo, and I'm honestly so pleased with the results. Not to mention it works fairly well with my exfoliants/actives/retinoids (I do skin cycling so I don't use all these at once) and so far hasn't caused any irritation. Overall I would honestly give this product a 10/10, and I would highly recommend it for all skin types, specifically acne prone or oily (combo/dry, I'd recommend adding extra moisture in the form of another toner or a hydrating serum.)
