This is it!
This is what I’ve been looking for. A safetyRazor that won’t break my sink or tile if it gets dropped. Cheap enough I ordered three. Forgiving enough that you can go pretty quick as well. Definitely what I needed.

Good basic DE razor
I'm a collector and user of DE razors. From my least expensive Gillette 7 o'clock out of India to my most expensive Rex Ambassador, I've used them all. This razor is mild and used with good soap and a blade like a Voskhod to a Feather, it will provide a decent 2-pass shave, which is where I stop. I did a couple minor modifications to customize the razor. 1. I used an emery board (like a previous commenter) to smooth down the sharper edges around the cap at the ends of the razor blade reveal. 2. I put a couple drops of super glue down in the bottom of the handle between the plastic and metal weight to stop the jiggle of the metal weight in the handle. Otherwise, don't over tighten the cap and this razor should give a year or more of normal useage. I keep a few of these around for guests and I keep one (without a blade in it) in my carry-on travel kit. Lost, stolen or confiscated on a trip isn't a big deal.

It’s been a few months so far using it. As a person who’s never used a double sided razor to shave before this was a perfect and budget friendly way to get started. The blade they offer is sharp enough to get the cleanest shave and the guard itself is very forgiving for new learners. The handle does have a little rattle but that doesn’t take away from the performance itself, it’s long enough for me to have substantial control and the grip is great for when I get out the shower or overall humid conditions.A solid choice for anyone learning to start shaving like their grandfather haha. Would recommend!

I like this better than one I spent 4x the money on.
I bought this as a first safety razor. It works great, I have less irritation issues with this than multi blade cartridge razors.Since it worked out for me, I bought a $30 Merkur. I like the Wilkinson better as far as shave quality goes. The only bad things (in comparison) are that the plastic doesn't feel as nice as the metal razor and the metal razor rinses off easier. But as far as rinsing goes, it is still so much better than a cartridge razor.

It's not as great as I had hoped.
For the price, this little DE safety razor is actually quite good. For $6 and some change it's not that bad; however, I would like to say that for someone who likes an aggressive shave it doesn't fit the bill. If you're looking for something really inexpensive and affordable, and are a bit hesitant to using a safety razor for the first time, I would recommend this. It's easy on the skin and feels like a glides. You might need to apply a slight amount of pressure to get it to shave. If, however, you require your shaves to have a feeling of actually shaving, I would recommend something different. But for the money, you really can't beat this guy.For all you first timers who are a bit apprehensive about using a safety razor for this first time, try this one out. Once you start trying it and you start to feel a bit more confident, upgrade to a metal one and graduate from there. You don't need super expensive razors to do the job, but most safety razors will do the job. Buy some affordable razors too, to help with budget costs.

Didnt' work for me
I really wanted this razor to work for me, but it just doesn't. It literally came on a slow boat from China and took forever to arrive. I know that when it comes to razors - "Your Mileage Will Vary". I bought this to be an inexpensive travel razor. I realize this isn't exactly a high-end slant razor or anything, but I did expect some level of closeness. I tried it with the Wilkinson blades that it came with and I got a terrible shave (not close whatsoever). I had recently bought a blade sampler pack and I kept jumping up blade sharpness levels to try to make this work for me. Recently I tried this razor with a Feather blade and I still didn't get a close shave. I'll use this in a pinch, but I will begin searching for another inexpensive travel razor. #VERYdisappointed
