Solid mount for the 2013-2018 Toyota RAV4
I was using a vent clip based mount for a long time and I wish I had this one from the very beginning. Easy to install, no adhesives that will wear out over time, sufficiently strong magnet, and most importantly, the position will not obscure your view of the road.

Cleanness
The media could not be loaded. For those who care for their vehicle, i recommend this. I've tried many phone holders but this i like cause it doesnt mess up my car with adhesives. Easy installation enough room to plug charger, doesnt block my sight, strong magnet, on the other hand its cute looks like a mini steering wheel 😁.

Cheap plastic breaks easily.
Plastic clip on piece is cheap and breaks easily. Only had it for 5 months.

Mount fits the dash great!
Mount was easy to attach and stays put once tightened down. Its in a great location where it is easily viewable and accessible. Im a big fan of Profit mounts but didnt care for their mounting locations for the RAV4. I was considering a different mount that adhered to the chrome trim piece but this is way better IMHO.Only con was trying to adhere the rectangular plate to the back of the phone case. I may not have let the adhesive set long enough and the little bit of hot air coming from the vent may have loosened it up and the phone slid right off. Magnet isnt strong enough to put the plate on the inside of the case either.I re-positioned the plate and so far so good. If it happens to come off again, ill put a couple drops of super glue on it.

I love how easy it was to install and how it works. As for the magnet strength, I think it matters more about what your phone cases magnets strength is than this device. It does “click” all the time driving down the road. If I touch the phone the sound stops. I think it’s the mechanism that tightens around the swivel ball. I could be made a bit better and tighten much more. Overall this products ok but the noise it makes while driving is highly irritating.

This phone holder is a life changer. Keeps my phone elevated so I can see my map while not blocking vents or other car functions. The mag safe holder has never let me down. It's great!
