It's eggsellent!
My low expectations have been met and exceeded. By a mile. It's that rare kitchen device that I use for one thing only and it works great. Every time.Cheap enough that I wont even be mad if it only lasts a year. My boiled eggs come out perfectly cooked every time. They peel easily. Cleanup is easy since they never explode (looking at you, former egg pan). I never even use that needle it comes with. Have not tried the omelette maker or poacher. I did use it for steamed broccoli and it worked great (does not hold a lot).

Egg-Ceptional Eggs Every Time!
This egg cooker is a game changer. You can easily and quickly and soundlessly make hard or soft boiled eggs simply by reading basic instructions. There was no leakage in mine and I have used it for 7 months. The eggs are perfect every time.

EASY PEASY
* Elite Gourmet EGC007CHC# Rapid Egg Cooker, 7 Easy-To-Peel, Hard, Medium, Soft Boiled Eggs, Poach, Omelet Maker *(Black) I lost my last egg machine in a separation. It worked well, but was becoming inconsistent. After reviewing many options, I decided to go with the Elite Gourmet due to ratings (and it holds 1 more egg). :)~ I've only used it three times, but on all three occasions, the eggs came out perfectly... twice hard boiled and once poaching. I'm happy and feel there is very good value for the investment in this little machine.

Uneven cooking
I received this a couple of days ago and I used it 1 time. I only cooked 5 eggs and it will cook 7. I cooked them for what should have been a medium boil. 3 eggs were a medium and 2 were hard boiled. This will do more than just boiled eggs, but that's mainly what I got it for. If you have hard water, the instructions say to use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup. The book also says that this makes the eggs peel easily. This is somewhat true. I still had 2 eggs that were difficult to peel.No cracked egg shells after cooking like boiling on the stove. This is something I'll have to play with a little to figure it out. It's small. Doesn't take it much counter space. Very quiet. No smell. Pretty easy to clean. All of the trays and lid are top rack dishwasher safe. The bottom has to be wiped clean with a rag and vinegar. It cannot be submerged in water.I'll try it again cooking 7 eggs to see if that makes a difference in how the eggs turn out. Possible update later.

Easy Easy Easy
Update-Almost subtracted one star. After a few weeks of use, the measuring marks on the little cup have almost totally worn off. i remarked with a sharpie, but even those are wearing off. I have just remarked with my sharpie, but this time I have added clear packaging tape to see if that helps protect the marks. I have also checked the measurements by pouring into my measuring spoons so I will know what to use if I totally lose the marks on the little cup. Hard boiled = 5T + 1t. Poached = 4T. Soft boiled = 2T + 2t. Don't use it to cook scrambled eggs so I didn't measure that. Still love the thing!Note: because I am using more eggs, they are fresher when hard boiled than the first batch I fixed, and the fresher eggs are much easier to peel.---------Original reviewEasy to use. Easy to clean. Makes perfect poached eggs. I no longer overcook my hard boiled eggs.I use grade "large" eggs. For hard boiled, I use just a bit more water (about an extra 1/8 inch). They are not as easy to peel as some people say, but they aren't hard to peel either.Got this because I was buying pre-cooked & peeled hard boiled eggs. They, like everything else, have gotten more expensive. With this little gadget I can cook them whenever I want, it's fast and easy, and I don't have to go to the store. I just keep a good supply of raw eggs on hand and we get our protein for much less cost. We have definitely been eating more eggs.I love poached eggs, but they were always too much trouble to fix. This makes poached eggs a snap-I've been having them every morning now! There is an omelet attachment, but it's pretty tiny. I usually use 4-6 eggs for an omelet, plus meat, veggies & cheese. I think it would only be good for 2 or maybe three scrambled eggs, or, like I said, a tiny omelet.Don't know how long this will last, but I WILL be getting a replacement when it dies! Highly recommend.

Easy to use and quick
Haven't used this as much lately due to the high cost of eggs, but it works really great. Takes the guess-work out of making various types of eggs. I mainly do hard-boiled. The eggs come out perfect every time. And removing the shell is very easy cooking them this way.
