Nice small motor
Hope it not to fast when I get it but together

Doesn't last
I fashioned an 8" arm to this motor When activated in the clockwise rotation it opened a small hollow Core door In the counter clockwise direction it would close the door I bought this motor in February 2025 2025 And maybe used it a dozen times Now the motor just hums It doesn't take much to open the door So the motor's not being overworked Just need a better motor

Amazing geared motor.
The media could not be loaded. I love these motors. The photos are of my Bi-Directional lathe carriage slider. Excellent slow speed and gears provide instant braking for my projects. I use ribbed belts and related aluminum sprockets to rotate my lathes carriage handle. Enormous torque (See video) and no overheating (Warm running normal and won't damage motor). It gives me bi-directional cutting for a smooth finish. I have also constructed a tig welder positioning table with a similar driver type with this type motor. I have 6 motors and am working on power feeds for my milling machine using these 2 of these motors with belts. I added a video of the motor moving the carriage on my lathe.

it works to some degree but has issues
I have 3-4 of these motors that spin at different speeds. The one thing I will give them is that they are extremely easy to install and work well out of the box. The problem that I have is that time after time I find that the torque is not enough and I have to end up downscaling my project in order for it to work. Beyond that the motor overheats after a while and begins to loses a fair amount of power. I was using this for halloween and after downscaling my project to half, the motor worked for a time but as it started to over heat, even that was too much. Some kind of cooling kit would be nice for these motors since they all come in the same size.

Ridiculously hot with no load
These motors spin at a nice consistent low RPM, but get ridiculously hot. This runs at about 170F with NO LOAD on the motor. This is well above the NIH standard for skin scalding.
