Use these once and my plants all died because the water ran out while I was on vacation. It didn’t leave a drip won’t ever buy again.

As many others have stated these only fit certain bottles. Despite saying that water bottles will fit, they do not. The water just leaks from the connection to the bottle. The only bottle that I have that fits is one to a 2 liter soda bottle. While they fit the 2 liter bottle this doesn't work well because the bottles are too large and heavy to be practical. I am hoping that a regular single serve soda bottle will work as well but I don't usually buy those. If I have to purchase a bunch of small soda bottles to use these it really affects the cost to use these spouts. If they fit water bottles they would be great. As is they are okay but pricey.

I would not trust these to slow water my plants while on vacation because they have to be tweeked every so often, little dirt particles will clog valve and u will have to open it alot then back off to the slower flow rate to clear the clog and to continue flow. I use these to feed my fig trees in large pots. I fill 2 litres soda bottles with plant food solution and drip it into the pots over about 3 hours. I get no run off or wasted food and the plants get what they need.

Good alternative if you going away for some time.

Controlling the amount of water to be released. You WILL need to put a small hole on the bottom of your plastic bottle!
