t a discount price this is a very pleasant single grain whisky which drinks well on its own. Some connoisseurs will hate that remark but pretty well any whisky, blend, single grain or malt, Scottish or even Japanese, will have those who love it and an equal number of detractors.Scotch is an acquired taste to start off with and once acquired has a whole range from dark and peaty to light and soft to have a go at.I must admit I discovered Haig Club just by seeing it on offer at a heavily discounted price in a supermarket and decided to give it a go on a whim, all without knowing of its dubious distinction of an endorsement by David Beckham, a marketing ploy no doubt designed to appeal to our celebrity obsessed society.Probably had I known of the endorsement I would have avoided it – nothing against Beckham, I just find celebrity endorsements mildly offensive; someone whose only claim to authority is being famous, and being paid, telling is what we should buy. But that’s just me.

This is one of my favorite whiskeys! It was a good pick from David Beckham!I absolutely hate Scotch Whisky and I can assure it tastes nothing like it! Its a very modern and unique soft blend of scotch. You get the lovely taste and aroma of a Bourbon with a blend of vannilla. It's beautiful and easy to like. All my friends ask me what is it and where I got it! It's an expensive enough whiskey but in Amazon it's always a phenomenon price!! You cannot beat this price for the quality. It's also a great present as easy to drink, great quality for the value in amazon and everyone I offer gets pleasantly surprised! It'sabout 30 to 40 quid in supermarkets.

This is an easy drinking whisky it doesn't have a big flavour which means there's nothing in it that will offend your taste buds, slightly on the sweet side don't think of sugar just think of the way whiskys are this is sweet and inoffensive. The Lady I bought it for normally drinks sparkling wine and brandy she's not a whisky drinker but she likes this because the flavours are sort of gentle and inoffensive that's about the kindest thing I can say about it. But as an experienced whisky drinker it isn't unpleasant it just doesn't taste interesting it has just such a mild uncomplicated flavour.

Good whisky even with various kind you can make cocktails and taste very nice .
