This is a quick and simple way to relieve muscle aches and headaches (if you lie down with it over your eyes/forehead). This has a very pleasant lavender smell and heats up nicely. I have had similar cheaper products, but I find this cotton covered one feels nice on the skin (not moist, like the others can be). It also arrived quickly. Definitely useful to soothe pain without pain killers.

My husband and I have many aches and pains and were always fighting over our very nice Lavender wheat bag ,(which was a well known brand........lavender colour ....more expensive ) so I decided to buy the Tartan Hot Pak to see how they compare. We were sent a dull brown one, no choice of colour like the brightly advertised ones. All the filling is in one section, so it all falls down one end, whereas our Lavender coloured one is in three sections, which keeps the filling and heat more even. The quality of material is all right but it could be thicker. They both have a nice aroma when heated and both sweat a little, but this does not detract from the lovely warming effect that they have on painful joints. I was a little disappointed with the Tartan one and have brought another one of the other make , so now have three. I think you get what you pay for.

This is smashing,I have fibromyalgia and arthritis,this heats up quickly and is a God send on those really painful days.I would recommend.

I enjoy putting over my shoulder and around neck in the evenings. I work sitting in an office chair most of the day and find my neck and upper back can be a bit stiff. Lasts about 20 mins for me. I like the smell but my husband doesn't so I thinks its personal choice. Helps me relax before bed. Can feel a little heavy, so don't think it would work for very frail customers.
