Wanting to get away from large, obtrusive phone holders attached to my car windscreen I searched for a different option. Took me a while but so glad I found this. This is neat, minimalist and works brilliantly.My Fiat 500 has very few clear, flat surfaces so finding somewhere to attach the phone holder was a challenge. Having found pretty much the only area that would work, the magnetic holder was easy to attach and has proved to be completely reliable in holding my iPhone 16- not the world’s largest or heaviest phone but not the lightest either. This phone holder is a great option for a smaller car.

This is one of those rare products that really exceeds your expectations. I wanted a really low profile phone holder that would let me get it on the dashboard to the right of the steering wheel, with obstructing any of my view of the road. Many of my friends have more complicated phone mounts, but they all stand quite tall on the dashboard and inevitably obscure some of your view of the road. For me, loosing even a small amount of visibility of the road ahead of you is a big no-no.So I bought this small device. My concern was that, being so small, it might not give a firm hold on a large smartphone, but if you take the time to fit the base mount to your dash exactly as per instructions, it's rock solid. The strength of the magnetic discs is incredible: my 5" screen smartphone sticks like a limpet to the mount and sits beautifully low on the dashboard. I have mine setup portrait, so I can use the [phone for navigation. This little device is small but beautifully made and it looks great. You'd never guess that such a small mount could hold a large phone so firmly.With the phone off the mount, you'd have to look closely to see that the mount is there. With the phone on the mount, the mount is invisible and all you see is your phone, at precisely the angle you want it.I don't usually bother writing reviews of products I buy on Amazon, but this one is a rare gem of a tiny piece of kit that is great looking and works superbly.

Lovely, well designed and well made phone holder. Looks very nice in my car, unlike the previous clunky phone holder. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, not 5 is because it is not clear until you receive the holder that it requires a metal plate sticking to the dash first. I think this is why some people have given poor reviews, and I've seen pics of one that failed that was just stuck to the dash without the plate. This metal plate was almost a deal breaker for me, as to me, the whole point of this great devise is how compact and unobtrusive it is. Not sure why the plate is so big, probably to ensure a good fix.The other issue is it has to fix to a flat surface. My Audi A3 has very few flat surfaces on the dash where a phone can usefully sit. I got round this by using some other 3M fixers that came with another item. I used them top and bottom of the fixing plate so I got a good fix on a slight curve. Left the whole thing overnight to get a strong bond and bingo. Looks great, works great. A smaller fixing plate would be a big improvement. I do recommend as all phone holders are a compromise.

By far this is the best phone holder I have ever used in my car or seen used by others.The magnet is so subtle on the back of your phone and actually looks nice. It even works through a thin plastic case.The piece that sticks to your dashboard is so very stable and secure and once in place, it rotates to wherever you would like your phone pointing.Not once has my phone fallen off of the holder when driving. Very compact too in the car and looks nice!Very very happy with this product.Only downside is the magnet is stuck on so well, I cannot get it off my old phone so will have to buy more for new phone!Have recommended to a few people as it is so good. 3 previous phone holders have continually fallen off the dashboard and windscreen and broken on falling, which is not great when you have a long drive!

I use a large heavy phone (HTC 10 with Spigen heavy duty case and tempered glass screen protector) so finding an elegant phone mount was difficult.I didn't want to go back to using a cradle as they look clunky and generally don't last too long, they are generally made from cheap materials and rattle or lose their rigidity.Reading the reviews this seemed like an excel option, securing the mount directly to the dash without causing damage was the perfect solution, I didn't want to use the Air Vent clips as they also rattle and move when driving, the also ruin the drying of the centre console.When fitting I did as another reviewer recommended and found the perfect spot, cleaned it well with the included ancolhol wipe and dry cloth l, held the mount to the chosen spot on the dash for 60 seconds tightly and left it overnight to complete the bond. The next day when testing my phone out with it the mount was solid, no movement at all, the magnets are strong and sector to the included plates securely... As an added bonus there are multiple palted included, spare double sided tape to refit the mount if needed and all of the plates have nice pattern on the back, the mount is surrounded by a foam buffer which helps with grip over bumpy roads etc.Cannot recommend enough.FYI: the case I use is a little thick so the magnets don't work too well when on the phone they needed to be mounted to the outside of the case
