excellent unit for the price. perfect for anyone other than professionals
accurate to at least 4mg from tare - accuracy seems to go up when there is already weight being measured. 4mg placed into the tray when the scales are zeroed the scale wont detect it. add 4mg to an already-weighed 10mg on the plate and you get an accurate reading of 4mg. extreme accuracy for the price and it is reliably accurate. in the 5 months i have owned this unit i have only had to calibrate it 3 times and if anything it has seemed to become more accurate - though this is probably just me as i don't think a scale this cheap would learn and become more accurate over time...unit build quality isn't the best but what do you expect for the price? the box it comes in is adequately protective and good to store the unit in, and unless you for some reason are carrying scales around with you all day every day the build quality will be no issue.extremely cheap and accurate scale brilliant for any hobbyist jeweller, chemical researcher, makers of home supplement pills, or just generally anyone who needs an accurate measurement of really light weights.

A true gem!
This has got to be the best 15 quid I have spent in a long time. I wanted a scale that would reliably and accurately measure weights as low as 20mg (0.020g). The GEM20 will do this and more.I am using it for weighing aquatics chemicals and fish food. This scale is sensitive enough to weigh a single flake of fish food - 0.004g to be precise. It is essential to close the lid when weighing an item as the scale will detect a person breathing onto the pan! It is also a good idea to calibrate before use if you want to weigh 0.020g and below. This is because it is sensitive enough to detect changes in barometric pressure. My only slight gripe was that one of the calibration weights had some hardened adhesive (?) deposit on it. However, it was possible, with a dose of patience, to remove this with a finger nail. Having done so, its weight differed from the other calibration weight by just 0.002g.Am I happy with my purchase? You bet!

Good product, works well, great value for money.
Nice good set of scales for the money, tested and after calibration they seem to be accurate to within 2-3mg in most cases, though have difficulty with anything under 10mg - this is normal for these types of scales, and you won't get anything better than these or another Gemini-20 type scale if you're ordering a milligram scale for this price range. Expect to be paying a *significant* amount more if you want a higher level of accuracy. The product works as intended and these are a nice little set of scales, and come with an English manual (unlike most of the Gemini-20 clones!) - I'm happy and giving these 5 stars.Definitely worth getting if you want a cheap set of milligram scales and don't need accuracy to exactly 1 milligram. Good for weighing gems, miniatures, supplements, etc.

Minor niggle (for me) but otherwise fine
Works as expected - I'm not convinced the accuracy is quite as perfect asmaybe it should be - I seem to be getting about 0.005 to 0.01 error. Perhapsthe quoted spec is plus or minus (which would make a difference)otherwise for objects up to 20g or 100ct it seems fine and much cheaperthan a pro scale. Calibration is easy enough too. I can work with the issue.I'd be happy to buy again.

😒 Disappointing Performance: Steer Clear of This Milligram Scale
As someone who requires a highly accurate and reliable milligram scale for my various needs, I had high hopes for the Smart Weigh Digital Pocket Scale. Unfortunately, this product has left me thoroughly disappointed and questioning its value.First and foremost, the claim of "high precision" and "thousandth of a gram accuracy" is simply not accurate. In my experience, the scale struggles to provide consistent and precise readings, often fluctuating wildly even with the slightest disturbance. This makes it virtually impossible to rely on this scale for any task requiring true precision. 🤦♀️The "multifunctional" measurements are also a letdown, with the various units feeling more like gimmicks than genuine selling points. And while the inclusion of calibration weights is a nice touch, the overall build quality and durability of the scale leaves much to be desired.Customers say: "This is the best milligram scale on the market!" Well, I'm sorry, but I have to wholeheartedly disagree. This scale is a disappointment through and through, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone in need of a truly reliable and precise weighing instrument.Save your money and look elsewhere for a milligram scale that can actually deliver on its promises. Your needs (and your wallet) deserve much better than this subpar offering. 👎

Very good scales and value for money.
Much better than a similar set I bought 2 years ago, which went in the bin. These are great for micro amounts, I think I've seen another review on here stating a +/- 3mg uncertainty which I think is correct. It still might be your best option if need to measure in these increments as other accurate scales were, last I checked, very expensive. But I'd think twice if it was crucial medication. The 20 gram capacity (20? really?) is more than enough.Looks like it will be great for my 50mg 5-HTP and other supplements.Probably good for making pre/post workout caps [protip buy caffeine pills and just have those separate pre workout]Mum was asking for some scales to use with the home made additives for make up and I will be recommending these now. These are all great examples in my opinion, holland and barret, etc, can charge so much (like 400%+? for workout/brain support supps).
