Updated review! Previously "Cracking piece of gear"
Original review:For years I've been looking for a decent mixer for my multiple PC setup. I've had several, either suffering from short battery life or 50Hz noise from power supply - this running off USB from computer is great - not getting any noise issues.Only trivial issue - the blue power LED is so bright I have had to places two layers of snippets of postit notes over it...Update 4 years later:I've blown it - I think I've just been pushing it too hard, I was running it on the edge of the "OVER" light being on all the time and I think, after 4 years just too much. But f... it, this baby has done the job for 4 years, so I'm good with that. Growing symptom was "clipped bass" (not a professional, but what it sounded like). So now, buy another one and really use it only as a mixer and buy a headphone amp (I like it loud because I'm deaf because I like it loud) or move to another product - dunno, time for searching...

Good mixer for its intended use, occasionally noisy.
I've had experience as a sound engineer at a theatre, and consider myself somewhat of an audiophile, so please consider how these biases might affect my review. I bought the Just Mixer to mix various audio inputs at my workstation to a single pair of headphones, for example listening to a podcast while playing a video game. It has all the features I wanted, and I found the battery backup convenient for my purposes. The sound quality is generally good, and I haven't heard any significant distortion. However, some noise issues have come up in the few months since I bought the mixer:If there is an audio cable connected to the mixer with no audio device, it will pick up a lot of noise if the channel is left at audible volume. If an audio device such as a mobile phone is connected to a power source and not running on batteries, more often than not (though not for every device) 50Hz noise is picked up.Some audio devices have poorly designed sound hardware: in my particular case, an audio device was picking up a lot of noise --on battery and AC power-- whenever sound was not playing on the device.I also have some minor issues which I consider to be subjective:The power-on LED is bright and annoying. I needed to cover it with gaffer tape. The power setting slider switch is unlabelled: I added my own labels for Battery and USB power. This switch is occasionally tricky to use as the power off setting is in the middle. I would prefer it to be at either end of the slider as finding the middle position is occasionally difficult. The Just Mixer is generally good for mixing a few inputs for casual use and switching between them however, I would not trust it for any serious recording due to these noise issues. I am able to work around the noise in my personal use, and I am very satisfied with the mixer particularly considering the price. If you buy it however, know that you will need to fiddle with the levels, be very careful, and have a bit of luck.

Works, but with one slight caveat
This works fine for what I need. I'm connecting a digital piano and music source so I can mix both to headphones. It's not super loud, but certainly loud enough. The caveat is that it does introduce some noise. If you want to use batteries to power this then I'd probably suggest you look elsewhere. On batteries the background hiss is too loud and distracting. I'm using USB power and while it's still not silent any noise is pretty much way in the background. With music playing it disappears. On batteries, even with music playing, you can still hear the hiss. Build quality feels ok. For the money I am happy, but not when used on batteries.

Cheap audio for a cheap price
Dont power it via battery. Use the usb power instead. It performs okay for the price point.

Virtually no headroom at all
Handled my iPhone OK, couldn't handle any other input. 0 Headroom, tons of distortion. Really disappointing. This is the second mixer I've bought from this company, and the second one I'm returning. A real shame, as it's otherwise well designed. I just wished it worked properly.

Brilliant small personal mixer
When away I play an electric sax and I like to use backing tracks of the band at the same time. This little mixer allows me to plug in the iPhone, PC (running notation software [MuseScore]) and the sax all at the same time.I can now play along to MP3 or the score and get some practice inOutput direct to headphones or the music player in the caravan.Very small and clips onto belt - very neat. Not sure how long 2 AAA batteries will last but also has micro USB power input if I run out.Pretty sure this would work on stage although all the jacks are smaller 3.5 mm not 1/4" so adaptors would be needed.

Good at first
It seemed to work well initially and was nice and simple. Could not get it to work with microphone though. Sadly it gave up after 3weeks.

Need to use a proper power bank or it gets way too noisy
I was wrong in my previous review. I gave this thing 3 stars because it was very very noisy. I use it at the end of my pedalboard to connect my guitar and a bluetooth receiver to play backing tracks from my phone and practise. Sometimes I record my practice sessions as well. The power bank I intended to use at first, a Xiaomi Mi 20000Mah power bank, would switch itself off as the mixer does not draw enough power to keep it on. So I used a couple of old cheap power banks I had sitting around and they worked well as they don't have the auto-switch off feature. There was a lot of white noise when I turned up the volume and I thought it was because of the device itself, hence my previous review.I figure out a way to override the auto-power off function of the MI power and voila! the noise disappeared! So I am so changing this to 5 stars. The best feature is that you can pan the two stereo inputs. This is the reason why I bought this in the first place as I can pan the guitar to either channel and make it cut through the mix for quick recordings. Although the knob is not very sensitive, it is enough for quick recordings.I can now recommend this product but use a proper power bank. The one I use now is made with polymer batteries? maybe that is the reason...
