12" / 300mm Digital Vernier Calipers ALL STAINLESS STEEL (Large Display) CE

Bought to measure the thickness of sheet materials and as far as I can tell accurate the readings given are accurate within the described tolerances in the product description. The calipers are well made and come in a sturdy box, so I'd expect them to last a long time. A very worthwhile purchase.

I think i got what i paid for.works great but is 100 microns out,to put it right I would have to zero it out at minus .1 mm and you can not do this !!

You get what you pay for. Works the way you expect.

I have no reason to complain about it. So far so good, it works fine, displays well and I am pleased with the accuracy of the measurement. Gone are the days when I needed a very good eyesight to read the thin lines.

Got one of these in May 2021, now it is Jan 2024 and while the vernier still works the display suddenly developed missing segments on the display. It's not impossible this is related to a physical 'event'. I've been using it almost daily and just throwing it in a drawer, not using the case, along with other tools. It has been stable and accurate during this time, and if I remember correctly it needed either one or two battery changes in this time. Again, not bad.I got a replacement, which was worse than useless. When sliding from 10-20mm, the readings jumped between 450mm or 600mm, so I returned it thinking it was a singular incident and ordered another. The second one did exactly the same so I'm returning both as faulty and I will not be buying this product, or from this seller again. I will try to repair the old one, which still works perfectly except for the display.

OK, but you DO need to keep resetting them to zero and remembering to do it, as they get off track quickly.

Reviewing this after having this item for years. My only hang up is battery replacement as it can be a bit fiddly. Besides that, mine has served me well for a long time.
