When you need them
Had these saved to my list and finally just purchased them. It is almost time for my dryer vent maintenance and changing the flexible hose and it should help and I probably should of bought these years ago to save some time and frustration.

Fine for homeowner use
Needed to deepens the crimps on a galvanized pipe, this made it slide so much better and securing the connection. I’m sure there are better ones when you need to do this all day for hours on end but this was perfect for limited home owner use. Used with 26 gauge galvanized steel.

Decent value for occasional use.
These would not hold up to professional use, but for the bit of custom furnace ducting my DH did, they worked fine.They were easy to use and performed the function as intended. DH said they did a serviceable job.You wouldn't use them to make metal art, but that is not what the are for.

The crimper worked fine!
I used the crimper to correct a problem with a gutter downspout, and it worked fine. The crimped duct fit very neatly and snugly into the duct section below. I'm glad I made the purchase.
