It's a nice hard plastic that the dog hasn't chewed up yet. The color is bright and matches the picture. Slows the dog down while she's eating so it takes her at least twice as long as the other dog. The space between ledges is just enough to get a sponge in for cleaning.

I never post any reviews but I had such high expectations about this slow feeder that I have to share.Before ordering this I had the slow feeder also from Amazon "outward hound fun feeder slo blow" in purple. it was a good size but didn't like the color anymore so went with this one as it was the only white slow feeder that wasn't chunky. It is much smaller that that slow feeder as you can see in the first picture.I feed my dog 2 full cups of kibble and add meal toppers and one broken up treat. It barely fit in the bowl but it did fit. In her old slow feeder she would get kibble outside of her bowl and that did not happen with this one! I would say its due to the smallness of this slow feeder compared to the purple one. It did take her longer to eat all her food as well so that definitely a plus.The purple slow feeder had some silicone to stop from moving around and that is something this blow does not have however, its still pretty nice overall. In addition, this slow feeder did clean well, I didn't have any issues.If you feed your dog 2+ cups of kibble I would not recommend this slow feeder as it will not fit. My dog eats the large breed puppy kibble from heritage ranch made by H.E.B. The kibble is slightly smaller than most, I used to feed her hill science so in comparison to that brand (still large breed puppy) it is almost half the size of one kibble. So if your dogs kibble is also bigger than what you can see in the pictures, it may be different on how it fits as well.Overall I give it a 7.5-8/10, more for the look and color. It was the only white one I could find that didn't have chunky/big pieces to make it a slow feeder.

Functions just like you want it to. Super sturdy, not easily slid around. Slows my little man's eating down so he doesn't choke anymore. Great value for the money.

For most dogs I think this would a good dog bowl, however we have a dog that needs a lot of stimulation so we freeze her wet food in here then cover it with broth and freeze it so it takes a long time to get through. This plastic was too thin for that and she broke through it on the third use. So, it’s probably fine for you unless you have a dog that bites and chews and scratches their bowls.

Has helped my dachshund slow down eating his food and is nice to spread out wet dog food.

Love this for my puppy. Good way to slow himdown when he’s eating and it’s super easy to clean. I just put it in the dishwasher and it’s good to use.

I have been using these bowls as enrichment for my newest dog. I like to freeze various items in the compartments and then give this to him to keep him busy. The bowls are durable and the price can't be beat! I wish they had more designs and colors!
