I used this to replace the cable going from my Commercial VEVOR Slush Frozen Drink Machine to the LED light inside of the tank.

This is a lighter-duty cable than I expected, with a wire diameter of .116" and a relaxed coil diameter of only 1/2". This small coil diameter makes the cable difficult to stretch. The relaxed length of this measures about 10", and although you might be able to reach 2.5 feet it definitely feels like you are going to damage it or the jacks of the connected devices in doing so.The only thing that keeps the plugs from pulling out under tension is the fact that they are right angled. Unless the devices you are connecting are heavy or clamped down you will they will probably start sliding around if you stretch more than 6-8" beyond the relaxed length.Looking at the pull force and the resultant strain on the molded connector ends I would consider the maximum comfortable length of this to be about 20" or so. The cable looks fine otherwise as long as you understand that the stretched length is overstated IMO.

Like another reviewer I am an astrophotographer. I was hoping these could take the place of some non-coiled cables for cable management. But it looks like the wire size is a bit smaller thus may limit current carrying cabability. I checked the voltage at the output of my ASIAIR Plus with the two cable types and there is more voltage drop with this cable. It still ran but concerning. I wish someone made an identical cable with heavier gauge wires. I think this was mostly aimed at the communications trade so this would be not an issue there. I get the same measurements the other reviewer did as far as cable diameter and coil size.

These “stretchable “ connection cables work great for power connections to my telescope accessories.They stay out of the way and keep cable management neat looking.
