We were looking for something to put letters in and hang coats on so we could fix it to the wall. It does do the job and sticks to the wall nicely, but we got something else instead as we decided we didn't want something gloss white. Good quality item though...

Needed something to put in my small hallway to keep my keys and the odd bit of post so I stop cluttering up my kitchen worktop. This was the perfect thing. It's not too deep, it fits in with my plain white decoration, but also looks quite stylish. It'll keep my cycling gloves in, and I'll use the 3 hooks for my keys.Other reviews have questioned the included mounting hardware, but I didn't find a problem with it. As you can see from my side on picture, there's maybe a little bit of a gap, so it's not exactly flush, perhaps I can tweak that a bit, but doesn't really upset me.Perfect for a small flat.

So I have returned this. It looks great and almost glossy white from above but it is has a black felt from below. What I received looks like the pictures but the pictures do not show the bottom of this item. I would like to use it like a coat hook so given the position and I wanted it white to match the furniture, I was very disappointed the whole base was black.

The product itself is a good idea, I think, and well made. A bit overpriced but relatively ok.The problem is with the two metal plates at the back (for wall fixing) - both very rusty on the "new" item. Also, it looked like the item's packaging box was opened before.When contacted Amazon , I was told that I can return the item and re-order another one.However, the price when I tried to reorder was with almost £10 higher!
