Miele Boost CX1 Parquet - Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Lightweight, Compact and Corded with Vortex Technology and HEPA AirClean Filter, in White/Rose

Okay...so I'm one of those: a vacuum aficionado! Love to take my time and perform a chore that presents instant gratification and that everyone appreciates. I've been down all roads...from Sebo to Kenmore to Electrolux and even to the bagged Miele. Many pals of mine have all the less expensive models and they never mention them and, frankly, I don't blame them.I took a chance recently and ordered the CX1 Parquet, along with the TurboTeQ brush. Had never been interested in a bagless canister but thought Miele might have pulled it off with the CX1. Here are my thoughts: the suction is second to none...am blown away; the design is pretty cool; the ease when emptying the bin is wonderful...just be gentle as dust rises when debris hits the trash can; cleaning the bagless compartment is very easy and putting it all back together is a cinch; again, the suction is a.m.a.z.i.n.g; and, my only complaint, the ease at which the canister moves behind you is not very well dialed in...Miele could do better.The reason why I stated that this is a vacuum for aficionados is that you must be committed to cleaning the bagless compartment thoroughly every three or so uses. And I mean, CLEANING...emptying and rinsing and drying. For me, this works well, as I believe in taking care of things that take care of me. I actually enjoy the process. On the other hand, if you are the person who doesn't have the time or desire to clean something that cleans for you, then go straight for a bagged Miele.In the end, I've never been more happy with a vacuum. Hope this insight helps...just remember that the CX1 wants to enjoy a symbiotic relationship with you! ~R

I have "Parquet" version and as designed is great for hard floors. It can really get into tight spaces, under cabinets, along base boards, etc.Much quieter than the old upright and a Shopvac. Seems very well designed and sturdy. My house is all 1 floor, so easily rolls everywhere.The combo head can do some occasional low-pile carpet cleaning, but not really designed for that. So still need a vacuum with a powered beater bar for the small amount of carpeting.

This is my third Miele Vac. Bagless now, which is a huge break as the bags were expensive. Easy maneuverability, light weight but cleans deep- my fabric bed and couches really clean after vac with small brush. So thrilled to have a new one. Last one lasted 14 years. Important to have it professionally cleaned to keep it running well!

Compact and easy to use. I have all hard surface floors and this vac does a great job. You can purchase a larger brush to cover large area at a time, I recommend getting that. Now all my edges and corners are clean, very good suction…..

This is the best vacuum cleaner ever! Wish I had one years ago. Picks up cat hair like no other ( it was embarrassing to see how much it picked up). Great on wood and carpet. Highly recommended.

Strong dialable suction ideal for homes with little to no carpet.

If you looking for fast and powerful clean unfortunately it not that model .So disappointed with Miele vacuum as not first time own this brand. It takes a lot time vacuum as feel like not enough power and obviously need clean same place many times and clean brush during clean many time . And having cat vacuum it take a lot time. Not recommend. Only good thing is easy clean canister and automatic cable take out.

Yes it's pricey but I have no regrets. Powerful and overall brilliantly built vac. Only improvement could be the hose accessories attachment feels flimsy and cheap compared the the rest of the unit. I feel like it could break easily if I'm not cautious of getting it caught on something. Wish there was an option to attach the hose accessories to the actual main unit as well.
