Don't be afraid to buy "renewed"
I have no idea why my first review was rejected so I will attempt it again:The laptop arrived as described, in an impact-resistant mailer designed for laptops and included a power cord. It started immediately and booted into factory reset mode which allowed me to set up my profile with no issues. There was very superficial scuffing around the edges and minor wear on the mouse. It is in great shape, even having been "renewed" (used). At ~1/5 the price of a new Toughbook, this device is fully ruggedized, has a clear screen, limited obvious wear, and was fully loaded with windows operating system. I find it to be a great value.

Great machine. Looks practically new
Great value for a fraction of new. This is my 2nd refurbished Toughbook. My previous one finally started slowing down after almost 10 yrs of daily use. Definitely a good buy.

Excellent customer service
When I received the laptop, there was a configuration issue and I contacted the company. BAP Technology stepped right up and helped me with the issue and now I am a satisfied laptop owner.Great company!
