Not what you would expect from Epson (very quirky device) but prints well.
Nice little printer. Works well when connected. The process of editing and writing labels is cumbersome since you have to use a phone to do that. There is no Computer software and there is no way of direct connection to a PC. Portable but not practical. The weird thing is, it is still using AA batteries (6 of them) when it should have been designed with a rechargeable Li-ion battery. It does work fine without batteries when plugged in mains via the provided adapter. Again instead of using USB-C, it is using a propriety 11V adapter. Printing is of good quality.

Reliable but tapes are very expensive
Reliable. Portable, though rather heavy and bulky.Tape is very expensive which is a dampener! Therefore the 2 stars.

Nice printer but tape is very difficult to use
Label printer seems to work well, the app is very intuitive to use. However, I found it impossible to remove the paper backing from the plastic tape so could not stick them on anything. It would be so easy to make the tape easier to use but, as is, I cannot use it as intended.

Disappointed
The impressive auto-cutting feature allows the margin on both sides of the label to be set as small as 1mm. During each print, it first cuts off a 1cm blank space between the cutter and the print head before printing the label. This design ensures consistent margins on both sides of the label, providing a good user experience. However, the Bluetooth pairing is problematic. Even when the phone is next to the label printer, it struggles to connect. This issue consistently occurs on both iOS 17.5 and Android 14. Using a label printer with a built-in keyboard would be more efficient for short labels with only a few characters. The printer offers a wide range of features, but its 180 DPI resolution is a limitation. While it handles barcodes adequately, it is less suitable for QR codes. The tape is quite expensive -- 3 genuine tapes equals a brand-new label printer. Epson provides a lifetime warranty for the LabelWork series in the US and CA but not in the UK.
