Really useful for keeping books, brochures, upright and tidy. Small and compact, sits on the window-cill. Easy to put together. Sturdy. Good quality. Can be stained or painted to match decor. Very neat. Recommended.

One of the main problems with bookcases and bookshelves is that no-one seems to actually design them to fit common book formats (such as A & B Format paperbacks or Octavo, Demy & Royal hardcovers). So I judge any product of this kind on how it actually works with books as opposed to potted plants or the other stuff people with too few books clutter their bookcases with.I purchased this item as a visual aid to use on my Youtube book channel to display a tranche of books spine on for background/photographic purposes and it works well, with one caveat- it is quite deep for the standard formats I mention above- if you're a booky person, you'll know what they mean- and it has only one strut as a base, which is its main flaw, so it's not great for A format paperbacks.Otherwise, it does the job, but as a permanent portable counter-top/table top bookshelf it will lack longterm durability unless carefully handled.Assembly? Simple, five mins max.

It comes in a brown cardboard box and is quite well protected.Very easy to put together, it comes with the Allen key I put it together around 10 mins. There is no strange odour coming from the product. It's neat and cost efficient but still made with quality.

The only fault with this is the price

This bookcase looks attractive and is much sturdier than you would imagine with the thin strips of wood at the back. Mine holds a very substantial and heavy dictionary plus large textbooks and other books. The carrying handles work very well for me so I can lift it all from a sideboard to the dining table for study purposes.The only issue was that the bottom screw heads protrude slightly and would obviously damage the wooden surfaces the bookcase is kept on. The two solutions are a) re-drill the holes with a countersink bit so they are recessed and b) cover them with cut-down sticky-backed felt pads used usually for furniture. I did both.So I've been pleased with both the look and utility of this item. A couple of quid less would also help.

I use this little shelf to store my diary, books and notebooks for easy reference. It’s big enough for about 10-15 books and small enough to sit on the window ledge next to my desk. It’s perfect for the books/notebooks I am using day to day and want to access easily. It means I no longer have them in little piles that quickly get untidy.It’s easy to assemble, decent quality and good vale for money.

Easy to assemble took less than 10 minutes, was exactly what I was looking for a small table top bookcase to keep all my Cook Books tidy on the kitchen worktop.
