Q: I just ordered one and am now reading about the bed bugs. Anyone else have an issue recently? I'm nervous.

i think anyone who says they had bedbugs should immediately be investigated by amazon, overstock, whoever it is bought from and a formal complaint put to whatever entity----but----there is no way to know if this 'bed bug' thing is even true--the title of some of the 'reviews' had nothing to do with bedbugs, yet that alone would have been the most important thing---and if it was it needed to be gone back via the supply chain, take the item off sale, and have a full investigation----that is something amazon would do so you have to be careful when reading these 'reviews' because sometimes it can be true, or can be a lie, or somewhere inbetween and it could be the way the person already lives and it came from their own environment----there needs to be an amazon investigation where someone actually from the company goes out to inspect these pieces-------because this is no small thing.that said, i bought this for my nana and it was freaking beautiful, arrived in a box wrapped in plastic and wrapping perfectly clean and brand new perfect.other than that this review should not be on here---it needs a formal investigation because they cannot sell something with even a possibility of something like this being the case.

Q: When I lean the back against the wall, will it scratch the wall?

I wouldn't think so since it is all fabric. I placed mine against a wall and then moved to paint and it did not leave any scratches.

Q: Is the back upholstered like the front?

no, it is not, there is black fabric attached to the back
