Cute and Convenient Packaging for Pearl Barley!
I recently purchased the Pearl Barley 4-pound drawstring bag, and I’m so impressed! First off, the packaging is adorable and very functional. The bag is sealed with a threaded stitch that’s easy to cut open, and once you do, the drawstring feature is incredibly handy. After opening, I can pull the straps to seal the barley again, which keeps it fresh and prevents any spills. The strings are long enough to provide an extra seal if needed, which I really appreciate. It’s non-GMO, kosher, and vegan, making it a great choice for health-conscious consumers. Overall, this barley is not only delicious but beautifully packaged as well. Highly recommend!

You can be discerning about barley..
Not all pearls are created equal. Le Sigh.Anyway.Great product. If you want, well, barley, as a pearl this product is a larger kernel than competitors. Mouth feel and weird food words. I'm making it my recurring purchase. Recommend.

Convenient size, fresh, tasty
Cooks thoroughly in 20-30 minutes in soup, great texture, just throw in a handful. Small enough size to be useful but not keeping a 50lbd bag in your pantry. Pearled so both the outer bran layer and husk are removed. If you get the hulled stuff (just husk removed) it has more nutritional value but takes roughly twice as long to cook. IMO a much more interesting addition to food than rice.

Nicely packaged
Ok, good product. Nicely packaged. VERY expensive!!! Four what you pay for 4 pounds you could buy organic in your local store and get 16 pounds instead of the 4 pounds.Other than feeling good to support a small farmer one time, not something I would repeat.

They arrived fast and taste wonderful in my one pot just as expected Quality I will buy again. I cooked on instant pot for 40 minutes with my one pot. The texture was right.

Nice packaging
I cannot purchase barley anywhere in my area. I use a lot in soups and in homemade dog food. Dogs like the barley better than rice. Price did go up from last time but it arrives quickly. I am not able to compare pricing with anything local. But I will continue to buy. Love the burlap bags with pull close strings.
