MINELAB Large Black Padded Detector Carry Bag for Metal Detector

I like these bags for their purpose. I usually carry 3-4 machines in my Jeep. I need the bags to keep my detectors from getting scratched and gouged and have enough padding to help absorb the bumps and occasional drops. They do a great job of doing these things. The accessories pocket stores a lot of small items and helps me keep organized (and I can use it). They have heavy carry straps and an adjustable shoulder strap that does a good job of getting them in and out or where they need to go…my only negative. I have a Minelab bag from 2008 and came with my GPX 4000. It has Velcro straps in the bottom of the bag that let you tie your machine into the bag…the new bags don’t have this and they need it.

Well made, large and padded to help prevent damage in transit. I love that it is so roomy I can place two detectors in this carrier and they both are protected. Looks awesome too.

It's a big bag with a good amount of padding. I'm using it for my Dad's old 1950s homemade metal detector.

bag is too short for fully assembled gold monsterjust remove top portion of gold monster, and everything fits in bagbag is well made with lots of room for extra gear and parts

Very nice bag. The only improvements would be a pocket in the inside and maybe some straps to keep gear more organized.

Appears to be large enough to hold most of my gear. I have one of the newer equinox 900 detectors and these fold up nicely so the bag is definitely large enough for any of my needs.

I purchased this bag to hold a Minelab Equinox figuring, since it was marketed by Minelab, the bag would be constructed better, the padding would provide proper protection and the storage of the equipment would be a bit more organized. WRONG! This bag is just that... a bag. When I unpacked it from the plastic bag it came in and opened it up I noticed the teeth of the zipper of the outside pocket had been pulled apart behind the zipped portion. This took a while to unzip and get the zipper to function properly. After further inspecting the bag I noticed there is less than 1/8" of very flimsy padding on the bottom of the bag. In my opinion the padding is placed for looks only. The bag is roomy but don't throw your earphones, probing/pin pointer, digging tools or knife in the bag or it will flop around and damage your LCD screen if it contacts it while transporting. So, in other words, you can do much better at half the price with a "No Name" bag. With this bag, what you are paying for is the name on the outside. Just my opinion.
