Review from a transformers collector
This is a very large and very silly converting elephant thing. If you like obscure oddball "not-Transformers" you will probably like this. The plastic is of decent quality, this isn't "KO plastic" but it also isn't as nice feeling as mainline Transformers. It feels sturdy, the joints are good, and the conversion process is simple and painless. The toy is well articulated, similar to modern transforming toys with some slight limitations like the outward movement on the hips. Since the gun and the hands are both hard plastic and the port is tight, that can be a little scary. But otherwise I would say this would be fine for a child to play with without breaking it easily or getting too frustrated.Obviously for collectors this is only for people who like weird converting action figures. This does not really resemble any official character, it is just a unique figure of its own. I find it very fun, but it's huge! This thing is larger than a leader class Transformer and would take serious shelf space.

Difficult!!!
So my son is into Stop Motion Video, so putting this together was very difficult for his movies and it’s a Knock-Off too. He’s 11yrs old and needed my help.I gave it 3 Stars because overall it’s really nice but it is very frustrating.

Deceptive marketing for a cheaply made product
This is very nearly a scam. The primary picture used for this item barely resembles the toy you'll receive. I've included a photo of them side by side so you can see just how misleading it is. It's my fault for not looking at all the pictures before purchase, but the way they are marketing this toy is still deceptive. As for the toy itself, it is incredibly cheap. It's reasonably articulated. Transformation is not difficult, though the instructions could be better. It's a little tricky, but nothing that your average 8-year-old should have trouble with. I've transformed it once from robot to cat and two of the leg joints are already so loose that it can barely stand in cat mode. I suspect if I transform it back to robot mode it won't be able to stand on its own. The swords will not stay attached in cat mode. The tail is so loose that it will not stay extended. The toy cannot be posed to match the pictures on the box.If you're buying this for a kid who is really careful and takes great care of their toys this would probably be an okay gift. Your average kid will likely break this toy in an hour of play, and if it doesn't break, the joints will be loose enough to make it more like a ragdoll than a transforming robot.Between the deceptive marketing and the $25 price tag, it should be a hard pass. It's worth $15 at most.
