Very good hammer
An excellent hammer. It does the job and is light enough to use when forging.Especially for the price.

Handy Hammer.
I am not a tradesman, it meets my homeowner needs. Nice fit and balance. Perfect size for fixing things that need some persuasion. Price was right, quality ok for occasional use, shipping fast. Nice addition to my collection of limited use tools.

Good value for early blacksmithing
TLDR: durability concerns for the hammer head, but still worth the cost. The handle contour on this one is nice for gripping closer to the hammer head. The handle has a lacquer finish that I opted to remove but after that it feels great in the hand. The face and peen both needed a good amount of grinding to dress properly, but not a terrible amount and I was able to do it with a worn belt - which leads to my main concern: the "hardening".Either this isn't a high carbon head or the heat treating isn't quality controlled because I got small dents in the face within the first hour of use (likely from miss-strikes on my part, but still). I more suspect the carbon content because of how few/puny the sparks were while dressing on the belt grinder. Basically, don't expect a hard-faced hammer. All in all, though, I'd still call this a good value hammer. It's not fun seeing dents in the face after the first use but everything else about it is good. If it lasts a whole year then I'd likely buy another one, else if it starts breaking apart I'll look elsewhere. Either way, I'd recommend it for this price range.

It hammers
It's an inexpensive hammer that functions like an inexpensive hammer. I use it in my blacksmith shop for light shaping and haven't had problems.

Quality hammer
I use this hammer almost daily. Good weight for light hammer work.

Poor quality control.
Broke almost immediately due to poor wood selection for handle. There is a small knot which caused the grain to curve across the handle near the head. The hammer handle broke almost immediately, right along the grain. Did not use until after the return period, and their website is terrible. I'm unable to submit a contact form or use their chat.

Nice light hammer
Light, but very good for detail work.
