High quality construction, performance and water quality
I’m very impressed by the quality, fit and finish of this unit. Installation instructions are excellent and takes around 30 minutes to install. Once installed the functionality is excellent as well as the water quality and taste. I especially appreciate the units form factor which fits neatly and looks nice inside the cabinet. When the filters need replacement they are easily accessible by removing the front cover.

Like the water filter while Faucet can be improved
Over all it is working really well. It is easy to install (takes some time to do the work but not too hard) if you already have the hole. The speed of filling the pot is very satisfying. The water tastes good. I think I could change back to non-mineral backfill one just by changing the F3 filter. The faucet may need to be improved. I like the function of automatically stop. But the first drop of water has too high pressure that will easily spill out. Is there a way to adjust the speed of the flow? And I have to say that I don’t like the pushing button. Is there a way to make it touch or turning? Any way, it meet all our requirements for healthy water.

Thanks to Olivia and team Waterdrop!!
I have been searching for a reliable water filtration system to ensure my family has access to clean, great-tasting water. The Waterdrop X12 Mineral Reverse Osmosis System has been a fantastic addition to our home. With its 11-stage filtration, lightning-fast flow rate, and sleek design, it’s exceeded my expectations. Special thanks to Olivia from customer support, who made the experience even better with her outstanding help!Setting up the X12 was easier than I expected, taking about 35 minutes with the clear instructions and quick-connect fittings. I used an existing hole from our old soap dispenser for the smart faucet, which looked sleek on our countertop. I did have a minor issue with a loose connection, but Olivia from Waterdrop’s customer support was a lifesaver. They sent over a part to fix the faucet for overnight shipping, and Olivia followed up after the installation, ensuring no leaks. Her expertise turned a minor hiccup into a smooth process, and she offered a major July 4th holiday discount on the unit that I had already purchased as a price match! The water quality is phenomenal. Our tap water had a slight metallic taste and a TDS of 130 ppm, but the X12 reduced it to 20-35 ppm, resulting in a clean, refreshing flavor. My kids now drink more water because it tastes so good, and I’ve noticed a difference in our coffee and soups. The fast flow rate is a game-changer for our busy household—filling a pitcher for dinner takes seconds. The mineral boost gives the water a smooth, almost bottled-water quality, which we all love.

Overkill but great.
This is complete overkill but it addresses the two things I hate about RO systems:- The large tank- Water dribbling out and taking forever to fill coffee pot.It is compact for what it is and fits under the sink very nicely. Makes a noise while dispensing but it isn't that bad -- the water running is about as loud. Fills my pitcher in about 20 seconds so that is great. Would 28 seconds be OK? Yea probably the 1200 would have been fine too.The bayonet style filters are a personal preference choice. It does make them more expensive to replace but they are FAR easier than the filters where you have to dis-assemble the unit to replace them.I am a little bit concerned about the longevity of the computerized dispenser. It works well but a mechanical lever would have been just fine. The quantity knob is kind of nifty but mostly a gimmick. Would be really cool if it could be pulled out and run directly into coffee pot. The dispenser is much larger than I thought looking at the pictures and leaves lots of room to fill large containers.Installation was very easy except for two things I forgot to order:1) A drip mat. Has not leaked and I don't expect it to but I don't want to have to pull it out to replace filters. Past experience is something always drips. Maybe I over-tighten or under-tighten something, maybe I accidentally yank one of the hoses out while messing around, maybe filters drip when removing them. Better safe than sorry.2) A proper drain connector to attach drain line to garbage disposal dishwasher line instead of drilling holes. My particular installation does not have a vertical pipe long enough to drill due to deep sink but even if it did I prefer to hook up with plumbed in connectors rather than the saddle clamp.Other than forgetting those things their claim that installation takes less than half the time as a traditional tank system are absolutely true. The hardest part was lugging bucket after bucket of water out to dump on the garden during the 35 minute flush cycle.Water tastes great (I got the alkaline re-mineralization version). My water was never horrible in the first place though -- main use is to remove salt added by water softener.Update from Spouse in case Waterdrop reads these:A great product would be even better if the base of the dispenser was slightly larger and it came with a pull-out hose similar to the sink faucet. I would love to be able to just hold it over the coffee pot.
