I bought my guitar pedals and they had a much cheaper velcro. I replaced them all with this (including my pedalboard) and it has been great. It is a bit pricey, but worth it to me.This would be even better for my use if it was 1/2 inch wide, but I just cut them in half myself.

It can be removed so it’s not super permanent but it’s permanent enough that I decided to attach to magnets or command strips to make it easier to remove.And when putting it together remember to push till you hear the click. And distribute the weight(I actually attach my ring doorbell mounts with it)

I’ve been using this to hang lamps dry erase boards, and other similar things. So far, nothing has fallen. I remove the backing press and hold for 10-15 seconds with as heavy pressure as I can and it adheres quite nicely. Removal is relatively easy and mostly clean.

Unlike Velcro you will have to buy 8 feet if you want 4 feet. It seems that all dual lock tape is that way. I ordered a couple and all came in the same way. I haven’t tested the grip of the back side yet. I will update when I do.Update: The grip of the adhesive is good. Unfortunately the grip of the removable side isn’t quite as strong. I have standard Velcro that holds better. I wish I could remove another star.

I purchased this to mount some light on my hitch hauler. This is so much stronger than typical Velcro. Both the adhesive side and the dual lock side have held up very well. Will be using this for several more applications no doubt!

It's strong enough to keep my light curtains hanged on the wall or the ceiling, I'm surprised how strong they are. It can tears out the paint if you try to remove it. Before installing anything male sure to choose the good and the right place, cause when you remove it, it can probably remove the paint on tje wall. I prefer usong these than making hols on the wall. If you remove them carefully, you can be safe, but overall all good quality, strong glue, easy to use, but a little bit expensive.

Sticks well when on clean surface and pressed hard.
