The Wild Musk cologne had gone off. ..sent back for a refund.
The cologne had gone off. The first giveaway, before I smelt it, was the colour of the liquid in the clear glass bottle, it was a deep amber/ orange colour. I did an aromatherapy course at college several years ago and had to smell the oils the class used every week on other students/ general public . When an oil goes off, it has an aldehyde scent and this is what the cologne gave out as soon as a small amount of cologne was sprayed onto my wrist. Although it is in a box, if it is kept too long, kept in a warm place these really affect perfumes and oils too. Eventually perfumes will degrade over time.
