Works well!
I am extremely satisfied with the 1 pound pack of paraffin wax I purchased! The quality is top-notch, melting smoothly and evenly without any impurities. It has a great consistency for making candles, wax melts, and other crafts. The wax holds fragrance well and gives a clean, bright burn with minimal soot. The packaging was secure, ensuring the wax arrived in perfect condition. Overall, this paraffin wax is a fantastic value and has exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for all your candle-making needs!

Good wax
Used this on Carhardt jacket zipper because zipper was hitching. Used it on my leather boots zippers as well. Worked as expected. Zippers have now worked fine all winter.

Strong petroleum scent
Yes, paraffin is a petroleum by-product but it does not have to smell strongly of it. This block that I got does, strong enough that it smells like lamp oil. I'll see if it'll air out some, but I'm surprised by all of the reviews on here that talk about the lack of scent, and even a couple people who used it for food, because out of this package, this does not smell like something you should put in your body, or on it.

Used as cutting wax
I use this bar for cutting aluminum with a porta band saw. aluminum loads up the saw teeth and fouls the cutting action, especially with higher speeds. So, before every cut I just lightly run the blade across the wax bar and it acts as an anti-stick essentially and doesn't cause blade slippage or make a mess like cutting oil does.
