Good piece of wood
Good size, fits nicely in my 90l tank, and interesting shape. It did take a lot of soaking, maybe 4-5 days, before it stopped the water getting murky. But, happy with the wood.

Great piece of wood
Ordered 2 of these to rescape a 90litre tank that has had a bristlenose pleco population explosion so much more wood was needed, 2 lovely bits of wood that are going to look great ( currently soaking to remove tannins) and be very much appreciated by the tank inhabitants, really pleased with my purchases. Great size and currently on offer so great value for money.

Fantastic
I have bought a number of these pieces of wood to be placed around the shallow edges of my pond to allow easy access for creatures to get out of the pond if necessary. It really does give the pond a different dimension from the usual pebbles or rock and allows my fish to graze on the algae that grows prolifically on it. I also use them as a means of attaching plants so they are bare root allowing them to suck up all the nutrients from the pond water helping maintain clarity. Each piece I have received has been of a substantial size and weight ( large) and attractive and interesting in appearance.I give them a couple days of soaking to release some of the tannins but if adding to an aquarium I would soak longer with activated carbon due to the smaller water volumes. I really rate this product and I have no doubt benefits the pond and inhabitants greatly. Thanks.

I didn’t soak :( but lovely!
Very good, large piece of driftwood for my new 300L tank. I made the mistake of not soaking it though. The last driftwood I bought was already cleaned for me and I just assumed this would do the same. Please, please, please soak if you don’t want murky brown water. It’s going to take months of water changes to get rid of the tint but it’s beautiful and my plec will be delighted. I’m still cycling my tank so no fish in there just yet. Very happy with the product just needs a good soak for a couple of days.

Large was a very good size for my 140ltr tank
When I opened the packaging, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the wood. (That doesn't sound right). It was too big for a bucket, so had to soak it in a big utility sink. After a soaking in salty water for 48 hours, I added it to the tank. It was bigger than I expected and even in my 140ltr tank so I had to shuffle things around a bit to fit it in. 2 1/2 months later my water still has the look of very weak tea, but I like this look since i think its more natural and it suits my glow light tetras. In the first few weeks you will most likely get a cotton wool like growth on it, but this is only protein leaking from the wood. Not a big worry, algae eaters love it, but if you don't have any it will disappear on its own once the protein has leaked out fully. This kind of wood is a good idea if you have plecs, they like to graze on it and the fibre aids in their digestion.

Absolutely brilliant!
I ordered last night quite late, and it came this morning at 10AM, shipment was VERY fast and reliable, it came in tact, it was the perfect size and it will make a great addition to my gecko tank. its just what i need, it is a lot cheaper than most petshops sell pieces of wood like this, and so far it looks like very good quality. The only complaint i do have is the fact that the packaging was a little overkill, the box could fit about 10 of the large pieces in, and i only ordered one. However that is often the fact with most modern-day packaging.

Not as decorative as I had hoped. Large size though!
It is a large lump of wood. Size is as expected, can't complain about that. I think with natural products you just have to cross your fingers and hope it's something you can work with. Unfortunately mine is just a flat lump of wood, without any interesting curves or anything 😕. I will probably cut the bottom off at an angle to try and stand it up or something. Overall it's good quality and a large size, so aesthetics aside I got what I paid for. Luck of the draw. I gave it 3 stars because it is very spikey and I'll have to do a fair bit of sanding before it's safe to go in the tank.

Attractive wood
I left the wood in a bucket and boiling water for a day to leach the tannins , attached some peacock moss to three different ends , growing well on it and the fish love it.Great piece of wood
