Q: what is the difference between standard and oversized?

It refers to handle bar size. Standard is for 1" bars 25.4mm Oversize is the new bars that are 31.8mm in diameter.

Q: I have a Specialized TriCross and I only have 9/16" between the center stem and the brake handles. Will this fit?

Clamp is 11/16 wide. The holder extends out 5 inches. Hope this helps. Also. I actually measured. I am not estimating.

Heavy duty quality clamp and bar.

These are a quality durable item. Would have been nice to get a small allen key to go with it for this price but its still worth the money I feel. The bar can be turned and fitted horizontal or vertical as required.

For handlebars or seat post

A very sturdy and well-made all-metal clamp. This is the oversize version for fat handlebars, but I've attached it to the seat post to hold a rear light. Its suitability for this position is actually mentioned on the packaging.Update February 2025: Still looking almost like new, still functioning as my rear light holder, nothing at all to complain about. Excellent piece of kit.
